Frontier Airlines is expanding its Florida network with a new route connecting Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) and Orlando International Airport (MCO).

“We are thrilled to offer consumers in the tri-state area a new, affordable, and convenient connection to the Sunshine State, just ahead of the spring break season,” said Josh Flyr, vice president of network and operations design, Frontier Airlines.

Let’s take a look at Frontier’s new route connecting the New York City area and Central Florida.

New Frontier Flights to Orlando

Frontier Airlines has launched nonstop flights from Newark (EWR) to Orlando (MCO). The flights, which started today, will operate 3 times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

The new route is Frontier’s fifth from Newark, and should be good news for Frontier loyalists who will have another nonstop option to the Sunshine State.

Of course, Frontier is entering a crowded market, as virtually every major airline flies to Orlando from the 3 main New York-area airports: Newark, New York (LGA), and New York (JFK). However, Frontier’s fares aresome of the cheapest you’ll come across.

Frontier has been expanding at Orlando — a major tourist destination for solo travelers, families, and more — in recent months.

Last fall, the airline launched weekly flights from Orlando to Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM) in St. Maarten. Last March also saw a slew of new domestic routes from Orlando, including Austin (AUS), Nashville (BNA), and Los Angeles (LAX).

How To Book

Frontier is offering promo fares on the new route at some of the lowest prices we’ve ever seen. Flights start at just $28 one-way — but there are some terms to be mindful of before you book.

Make sure to purchase your tickets by 11:59 p.m. January 27, 2026, and note that the deal is valid on nonstop travel on select days of the week through April 9. Keep in mind that the following travel blackout dates apply: March 6 through 31.

Once you’ve picked your flights and travel dates, you’ll want to book with a card that rewards you for travel purchases, such as the Platinum Card® from American Express or the Chase Sapphire Reserve®.

Hot Tip:

If you fly Frontier regularly, consider opening the Frontier Airlines World Mastercard®, which offers 5x miles per $1 spent on eligible purchases at FlyFrontier.com
