JetBlue and Brightline have officially launched a new partnership that aims to provide travelers with more convenient connections across Florida by linking flights with high-speed rail service.

Here’s what you need to know about this new partnership!

JetBlue Travelers Can Now Connect to Brightline

JetBlue and Brightline — the high-speed rail service operating in Florida — have announced their first intermodal partnership. Travelers can now book a single itinerary that includes both a JetBlue flight and a Brightline train ride directly on jetblue.com.

This streamlined booking option eliminates the need to manage separate reservations when traveling between cities like Miami and Orlando. For instance, a passenger flying to Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and wanting to connect to Orlando (MCO) without renting a car can now book a direct transfer through JetBlue and seamlessly transition from flight to train.

Additionally, JetBlue flyers who need to connect to a Brightline train will receive new perks, with the JetBlue fare determining the experience. Passengers flying JetBlue Mint will enjoy Brightline Premium, which comes with added perks like lounge access, complimentary snacks and drinks on board, and more spacious seating.

If flying on a JetBlue core fare, passengers will experience Brightline’s Smart class, which still includes comforts like free Wi-Fi and plenty of legroom.

“As we continue to grow in Florida and offer more flights to and from cities like Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, and Orlando, our partnership with Brightline helps us deliver even more value and convenience to our customers,” said Dave Jehn, vice president, network planning and airline partnerships, JetBlue.

Beyond streamlined bookings, the partnership enhances travel flexibility. Should flight disruptions occur, JetBlue can rebook affected passengers onto Brightline trains, offering an alternative means of reaching their destination without needing separate arrangements.

Hot Tip:

Wondering what Brightline’s Premium class is like? It includes access to Brightline’s lounges, more spacious seating, and complimentary snacks and drinks onboard. If you’re flying JetBlue Mint, this is the rail experience you’ll be matched with. For a detailed look at what to expect, check out our full review.

Final Thoughts

This JetBlue-Brightline partnership is a smart move that travelers who don’t want to rent a car when visiting the Sunshine State will appreciate. It’s perfect for Florida-bound flyers who want to skip the rental car counter, avoid I-95 traffic, and still travel in comfort.

If you’re planning a trip to or through Florida, this partnership could be your new go-to way to connect the dots.
