JetBlue just announced some big changes to its TrueBlue loyalty program coming in 2027, most notably the complimentary upgrades to BlueFirst for all elite members.

There are also improvements coming to the Perks You Pick program, upgrade certificates, and new benefits for cardmembers. These changes will take effect on February 1, 2027.

Let’s take a look at the details.

JetBlue TrueBlue 2027 Changes

JetBlue is making a significant overhaul of its loyalty program, TrueBlue, for 2027 — and, so far, it’s all good news.

The airline announced that starting on February 1, 2027, every Mosaic elite member will be eligible for complimentary space-available upgrades to BlueFirst, JetBlue’s new domestic first class product. Passengers must be traveling on eligible fares (including flights booked with points) to receive the upgrade, and they can bring up to 1 traveling companion with them up front.

Speaking of upgrades, Move to Mint certificates will be getting a rebrand and will soon be called Premium Upgrade Certificates. Members will be able to use these certificates for either Mint or BlueFirst seats.

Mosaic 2 members can select 1 certificate through the Perks You Pick program, while Mosaic 3 and 4 members will continue to earn certificates as part of their standard benefits. Mosaic 4 members can earn additional certificates for every 100 Tiles earned beyond their threshold.

Mosaic 3 and 4 members will also have access to expanded Perks You Pick options, including bigger points bonuses, benefits sharing, and even BlueHouse Lounge Membership gifting.

The Perks You Pick program itself will also see some improvements. Members will soon be able to reselect a favorite perk at Tile milestones rather than being limited to each perk only once. Members will have 60 days after reaching each milestone to make their selection.

New JetBlue Premier Cardmember Benefits

Travelers with a JetBlue Premier World Elite Mastercard^® in their wallet will also see some significant improvements, including the ability to gift Tiles or Mosaic status to another TrueBlue member.

One particularly interesting benefit kicks in when cardholders reach Mosaic 3 elite status: They can select a companion travel benefit worth up to $500 as a statement credit toward a companion booking made on the JetBlue Premier card. Mosaic 4 JetBlue Premier cardmembers can select up to $1,500 in companion travel credits!

JetBlue Premier cardholders who reach Mosaic 3 or Mosaic 4 will also unlock an additional 3x points on top of the base earn rate at eligible grocery stores and restaurants.

These elevated earning rates bring the total to 5 TrueBlue points per $1 spent on up to $50,000 in combined eligible purchases per year.

Its not often we get to say this, but JetBlue’s TrueBlue changes for 2027 are overwhelmingly positive and a solid improvement for Mosaic members of all levels.
