For those who buy tickets to concerts, events, or dining experiences, you’ll be glad to hear that you can extra miles or cash-back on these purchases through the end of the year.

Capital One Entertainment has rolled out bonus earnings on additional credit cards, offering 5x miles or 5% cash-back on several personal and small business cards this week.

Here’s a look at the boosted earning rates and eligible cards.

Increased Earnings on Capital One Entertainment Spending

Through December 31, 2025, you’ll now earn 5% cash-back spent through Capital One Entertainment with these credit cards:

This comes after Capital One added bonus earnings on other cards last year, providing 5% cash-back or 5x Capital One miles per $1 spent on these purchases with several cards already.

While these bonus earnings only last through December 31, 2025, that’s not true for the Capital One Savor Cash Rewards Credit Card. This card earns 8% cash-back on Capital One Entertainment purchases — a permanent benefit of the card.

If you have multiple cards eligible for these elevated earning rates, consider the value of the rewards you’ll earn. Cash-back is worth its face value, so 5% cash-back is worth 5 cents per $1 spent. We value Capital One miles at 1.8 cents apiece, though. That makes earning 5x miles worth 9 cents for every $1 you spend — nearly double the value of earning cash-back on the same purchase.

Hot Tip:

You should be earning rewards when you buy tickets to events. Check out our list of the best credit cards for entertainment purchases and the best cards for concert ticket purchases to help you make it happen.

Final Thoughts

Capital One has added bonus earnings to additional credit cards when making purchases with Capital One Entertainment. The Spark, Journey, and Quicksilver cards now earn 5% cash-back on these purchases, though it’s only available through December 31, 2025.

Given the choice between cards earning 5x miles or 5% cash-back, you have more redemption options and the chance to redeem at a greater value by earning miles instead of cash-back. We recommend using those cards if you have both types of Capital One credit cards.
