Do you have a few days free this summer and a few hundred dollars saved up?
Nordic Choice Hotels (which becomes Strawberry Hospitality on May 22, 2023) currently has a promotion you may be interested in. It offers the ability to stay 7 nights at hotels across several Nordic countries in Northern Europe for 1 flat rate.
Let’s dive into this exciting deal!
Nordic Choice Hotels New Summer Promo
For the relatively reasonable price of €595 (~$665), you can purchase a pass for 7 nights at many Nordic Choice hotels across the Nordics between June 22 and August 21, 2023.
Here’s how the deal works:
- Purchase the summer pass, which you’ll then receive via email.
- Book your hotel nights on the booking page.
- When you check in, just show your digital summer pass and provide your unique code.
The deal applies to 2 people in a shared double and is valid between June 22 and August 21, 2023. Breakfast is included at most properties, except the Comfort Hotel Xpress, where you can purchase breakfast onsite.
Also, keep in mind that not all Nordic Choice Hotels are participating in the promotion, so check to see if your preferred properties are included.
Nordic Choice Hotels is headquartered in Oslo, Norway. It’s one of the largest hotel companies in the region, with 200 hotels across Scandinavia, Finland, and the Baltics. Nordic Choice is a franchisee of Choice Hotels, but you can’t earn Choice Privileges points at these properties (though you can redeem them).
Hot Tip: If you’ve settled on Scandinavia for your summer vacation, you’ll want to read all about Scandinavian Airlines’ extensive network of flights between Northern European countries and the U.S. for ideas on how to get there and back.
Is It Worth It?
Taking advantage of this promotion could be a great value, especially since Scandinavia is a popular summer travel destination.
For instance, the Clarion Collection Hotel Aurora in Norway costs $116 for a 1-night stay in early July. However, if you took advantage of the promotion and stayed a full 7 nights at this Nordic Choice property, the cost would be roughly $95 per night. That’s a pretty good deal — especially if you already had plans to visit the area for an extended vacation.
Under this promotion, you will earn Nordic Choice Club points for purchasing a pass, as well as qualifying nights for each night stayed. However, other membership perks, like room upgrades, are not included.
If Scandinavia is already part of your summer travel plans, this is a solid option, especially when considering breakfast is included at most properties. If you’re interested, make sure to complete your travel before August 21, 2023!
