Citi cardholders, check your Citi Merchant Offers for $50 back on JetBlue Airways.

Citi has been on the slow slide of rolling out attractive travel Merchant Offers, but this is a good one that could save you up to 20% off a future flight.

This is a pretty straightforward deal but let’s look at the details to ensure you get the most out of it.

$50 Back on JetBlue Airways

Targeted Citi card holders can get $50 back on a purchase of $250 or more with JetBlue Airways.

The wording of this offer implies that only a single purchase would trigger the offer, as opposed to multiple transactions adding up to the $250 total.

Other details to be aware of are:

  • Registration is required
  • The offer expires on May 31, 2023
  • Valid on a purchase of $250 or more
  • May be redeemed only 1 time

With the airline expanding aggressively, you can find flights to almost anywhere in the U.S., and now even JetBlue flights to Paris, so this deal could help unlock some great travel.

Hot Tip: If you wanted to take advantage of this offer, but aren’t ready to book, you could purchase an eligible ticket and then cancel it to receive a Travel Bank credit. Just note that Travel Bank credits are valid for 12 months from the date the credit is issued.

Citi Merchant Offers

Citi Merchant Offers are still a long way from really competing with Amex Offers and Chase Offers, but there is still value to be had if the offers line up with your everyday spending.

If you haven’t used them yet, be sure to check out our guide to Citi Merchant Offers.

Activating offers are pretty easy, once you find them. You just need to:

  • Log into your personal Citi account
  • Click on Offers for You
  • Find Merchant Offers
  • Browse the available offers and activate the ones that you might use

This process is slightly easier via the Citi mobile app and new offers have been appearing about once per month, not necessarily at the beginning of the month.

Final Thoughts

Despite not being as robust and lucrative as some other cash-back offers, Citi Merchant Offers continue to show some value.

JetBlue is constantly running sales and continues to expand its destination map, so you may find yourself booking a flight with them in the near future. If you have a Citi card with this offer, this is a great way to save up to 20% on your next trip.

At the very least, if you have the offer on your account, activate it so you don’t forget about it. Plus, if you have a Citi Prestige® Card you will earn 5x points or 3x with the Citi Premier® Card on your purchase.

The information regarding the Citi Premier® Card has expired and the card is no longer open to applicants.
The information for the Citi Prestige® Card has been collected independently by Upgraded Points and not provided nor reviewed by the issuer.
