Update: The offer mentioned below has expired and is no longer available.
For a long time, World of Hyatt has offered just 1 credit card, The World of Hyatt Credit Card, while many of its competitors offer 2 to 4 credit card options.
That all changes today, though, as Chase and Hyatt have announced the launch of the brand-new World of Hyatt Business Credit Card.
Here’s a quick look at the perks, benefits, and fees of the new card to help you determine if it’s a worthwhile addition to your wallet.
World of Hyatt Business Card Welcome Bonus

New cardholders can earn 75,000 bonus points (equivalent to as many as 15 free nights at a Category 1 World of Hyatt hotel or 2 free nights — with points left over — at a Category 7 property) after spending $7,500 on the card within the first 3 months of account opening.
We value Hyatt points at 1.5 cents apiece, making this welcome bonus worth $1,125 based on our valuations.

World of Hyatt Business Card Rewards
Here’s a breakdown of the reward structure with the World of Hyatt Business card:
- Earn 4x per $1 spent with your card at Hyatt hotels, participating Small Luxury Hotels of the World and eligible Lindblad Expeditions. Plus, 5x from Hyatt per eligible $1 spent just for being a World of Hyatt member.
- Earn 2x points per $1 spent at fitness clubs and on gym memberships.
- Earn 2x points per $1 spent on the 3 categories you spend the most on in each calendar quarter through December 31, 2022 (then it drops to your top 2 categories). The 8 eligible categories are dining, airline tickets purchased directly with the airline, car rental agencies, local transit and commuting, gas stations, internet, cable and phone services, social media and search engine advertising, and shipping.
- Earn 1x point per $1 spent on all other purchases.
The addition of adaptive rewards (see the third bullet above) could be interesting for small business owners who have a variety of the spend that falls within those categories.

Final Thoughts
The World of Hyatt Business card doesn’t offer 2 loved benefits that the personal card offers: an annual up to Category 4 free night award and 5 automatic elite night credits.
On the other hand, it does present a great opportunity for high-spending small business owners to spend their way to Hyatt Globalist status more quickly, given that you’ll earn elite night credits through spending 25% faster with this card.
Ultimately, the World of Hyatt Business card might be intriguing to some and underwhelming to others, depending on your spending habits and travel desires.
