Hyatt is a fan-favorite hotel program, and now there’s a great opportunity to earn lots of bonus points with a new offer on The World of Hyatt Credit Card. You can earn up to 65,000 points with a new 2-tier offer available through March 6, 2025.

Here are the details.

New 65k Welcome Offer on the World of Hyatt Card

The World of Hyatt card has had a new welcome bonus offer for up to 65,000 World of Hyatt points, available from January 9 through March 6, 2025.

This new offer comes in 2 parts:

  • Earn 35,000 bonus points: Earn 35,000 points after spending $3,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening.
  • Earn up to 30,000 more bonus points: Earn 2 bonus points per dollar in the first 6 months from account opening (on up to $15,000 in purchases) on categories that would normally earn 1 point per dollar for a total of up to 30,000 additional bonus points.

If you can spend $15,000 on purchases in the first 6 months after account opening, you can max out this offer and earn a total of 65,000 bonus points.

We value Hyatt points at 1.5 cents each, making this bonus worth up to $975. Hyatt points can be redeemed at budget and luxury hotels worldwide, including popular brands like Hyatt Regency, Park Hyatt, Grand Hyatt, and Andaz.

Is This a Good Deal?

The World of Hyatt card hasn’t had an exciting welcome bonus offer in a few years, so it’s good anytime we see an elevated offer.

If you can max out this offer with $15,000 in spending, not only will you earn the full 65,000 welcome bonus offer, but you’ll get a Category 1-4 free night certificate (this can be earned each year you spend $15,000) and 6 elite night credits (the card earns 2 elite night credits per $5,000 spent).

Hot Tip:

We should note that this isn’t really a 65,000-point welcome offer. Since the extra 30,000 bonus points come from earning 2x points on purchases that would have normally earned 1x point per dollar, the actual bonus is up to 15,000 points (since you would earn 1x point per dollar anyway.) So, while you can earn up to 65,000 points with this offer, just 45,000 points of it is truly a bonus. That being said, if you don’t have the World of Hyatt card, this is a good time to consider it since we haven’t seen a more exciting offer than this recently.

Not only that, but you’ll also get automatic Discoverist status and 5 elite night credits for just having the card, so it’s a no-brainer if you’re trying to earn Hyatt elite status.

What makes so many Hyatt loyalists keep this card in their wallet year after year is the annual Category 1-4 free night certificate that comes automatically each cardmember year. The value of this certificate easily outweighs the card’s $95 annual fee. (This is in addition to the certificate you can earn by spending $15,000 annually on the card.)

Bottom Line:

The World of Hyatt card is one that many travelers keep in their wallets year after year. Not only is there a new welcome offer available through March 6, 2025, but this card comes with ongoing benefits that far outweigh its annual fee.

Final Thoughts

If you stay at Hyatt hotels even once or twice a year, the World of Hyatt card is one you’ll want to consider. Its perks are easily worth more than the cost of the annual fee. Even better, it has a new welcome bonus of up to 65,000 points through March 6, 2025, so now is a great time to consider adding this card to your wallet.
