Loyalty Program Overview

Allegiant Allways Rewards was launched in the summer of 2021 and effectively functions like a rebate program, as opposed to a more traditional airline loyalty program.

You can earn points on virtually every type of purchase you can make through Allegiant, so you’re not limited to earning points on airfare alone.

You can then turn around and redeem those points at a fixed 1 cent per point towards any service that Allegiant sells through its website, from airfare to baggage to rental cars.

Joining Allways Rewards

Signing up for the Allegiant Allways Rewards program is easy. All you have to do is create a myAllegiant account on the Allegiant website. Click Log in at the top right corner of the webpage, then follow the registration steps for New User, then finish with Create Account. Once you do, you’ll automatically be enrolled into the Allways Rewards program and can start earning points.

How To Access Your Allegiant Account

To sign in to your account, all you need to do is go to the Allegiant homepage, and click Log in from the top right corner of the screen.

From there you can see your total rewards balance, along with any upcoming trips you have. You can also make adjustments to upcoming trips, like adding additional baggage or selecting your seats.

Points Expiration

All Allegiant Allways Rewards points expire after 24 months of inactivity. You can extend the life of your points by having some sort of qualifying activity like earning new points, redeeming your points, or by holding the Allegiant World card.

Loyalty Program Benefits

Allegiant does not currently offer any type of loyalty benefits. However, the airline did state that Allways Rewards members could look forward to receiving a 5% discount on airfare later in 2021.

How To Earn Allegiant Allways Rewards Points

There are 2 primary ways to earn Allegiant Allways Rewards points: travel purchases through Allegiant, and spending on the Allegiant World card.

Earning Points on Travel

Allways Rewards members earn 1x point per $1 spent on any purchase made through Allegiant (including flights, bags, seat selection, vacation packages, etc.), and 2x points per $1 spent if the total transaction amount is $500 or more.

Further, the person who is purchasing the entire itinerary will receive all the points for the purchase. If you purchase 4 tickets for your entire family for $800, you’ll receive 1,600 points for doing so, making the Allways Rewards program a great option for families.

Earning Points With the Allegiant World Card

As outlined above, with the Allegiant World card you’ll earn 3x points per $1 spent on all Allegiant purchases, 2x points per $1 spent on dining purchases, and 1x point per $1 spent on all other purchases.

Branded and Partnered Credit Cards

Allegiant has just 1 co-branded credit card, the Allegiant World Mastercard® from Bank of America, which comes with a $59 annual fee. The card comes with a welcome bonus of 15,000 bonus points — equal to $150 off a future Allegiant trip — after you make $1,000 or more in purchases within the first 90 days of account opening.

Rewards Rates

When using the Allegiant World card you’ll earn points at the following rates:

  • 3 points per $1 spent on all Allegiant purchases (including airfare, or hotel, car rental, and attractions purchased through Allegiant)
  • 2 points per $1 spent on dining purchases
  • 1 point per $1 spent on all other purchases

Card Benefits

Cardholders of the Allegiant World card also enjoy perks like complimentary priority boarding and 1 free beverage every time you fly Allegiant when you show your Allegiant World card.

Plus, you’ll get buy 1, get 1 free airfare anytime you use your card to purchase a vacation package from Allegiant with 4 or more hotel nights or 7 or more rental car days on the same itinerary.

How To Redeem Allegiant Allways Rewards Points

When it comes to redeeming your Allways Rewards points, you don’t have to deal with any complicated award charts, blackout dates, or minimum redemption requirements.

Instead, every point you earn is worth a fixed 1 cent per point towards future travel with Allegiant. Have 500 Allways Rewards points from your last flight? You can redeem them for $5 off your next trip. Saved up 20,000 points from previous family vacations? You can redeem those for $200 off.

Further, you have the ability to redeem your points towards anything Allegiant offers, including bag fees, seat selection fees, and more. Plus, members will also have the ability to combine Allways Rewards points with any vouchers or promo codes they may have.
