Allegiant’s Cancellation Policy: Flights Paid With Cash or Points
All tickets may be canceled for a full refund up to 24 hours after the time of purchase with no cancellation fees.
Standard Tickets
If you need to cancel your reservation with Allegiant, and it has been more than 24 hours since you booked your ticket, you will be charged a fee of $75 per passenger, per segment. Afterward, a credit will be issued minus the $75 cancellation fee. The remaining funds will be applied as non-refundable credit good for future travel with Allegiant.
No credit will be issued for no-shows or cancellations made within 7 days of flight departure.
Trip Flex
All tickets may be canceled for a full refund up to 24 hours after the time of purchase with no cancellation fees. If you’ve passed the 24 hour window, Trip Flex lets you make a one-time change to the date, flight or destination of your reservation, within certain guidelines, with no change fees or cancellation fees!
Keep in mind that Trip Flex may only be purchased at the time of booking, so you cannot add it to an existing reservation. The cost to add Trip Flex to your reservation is anywhere between $8 to $20 per person, per segment, depending on your routing.
With Trip Flex, you can change your itinerary once or even postpone your trip without paying change/cancellation fees of $75 each way per passenger. You will be responsible for any change in the price of airfare but your change fees will be waived. Passengers with Trip Flex tickets can modify their itinerary once, up to 1 hour prior to departure for airline ticket purchases, and up to 72 hours prior to departure for air/hotel package purchases.
Hot Tip: While you can cancel or change your flight without any fees, it is important to note that your flight is still non-refundable. This means if you cancel your flight, the funds of your original ticket will be applied as non-refundable credit good for future travel with Allegiant.
Award Ticket
Canceling an award ticket follows the same fee structure as cash tickets. If you’ve purchased Trip Flex with your award ticket then you will not be charged a fee to change or cancel your award ticket, otherwise, you must pay $75 per passenger, per segment.
However, if you booked your flight with points and decide that you need to cancel, unfortunately, you will not receive those points back. Instead of having those points redeposited in your account, you will receive a credit voucher issued for the reward itinerary value.
