LXR Hotels & Resorts is one of the world’s most high-end luxury hotel brands.

Among Hilton’s luxury brands, LXR doesn’t have a massive presence like Conrad Hotels & Resorts or Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts. In fact, just 15 LXR Hotels & Resorts properties are currently open, though others remain in development.

Even with such a small portfolio, LXR Hotels & Resorts offers some of the best Hilton Honors redemptions out there.

In this guide, we’ll review the best LXR Hotels & Resorts you can easily book using your Hilton Honors rewards points. But before that, let’s give you a preview of the LXR Hotels & Resorts brand and what you can expect at some of Hilton’s best properties worldwide.

Everything You Need To Know About LXR Hotels & Resorts

LXR Hotels & Resorts is an upscale collection of independent hotels that joined the Hilton brand portfolio in 2018.

It is known for offering hotels and resorts in major cities or bucket-list destinations. LXR operates on 3 brand principles: bespoke service, intriguing design, and unique experiences. At any LXR property you visit, you will find laser-focused attention to detail on these brand pillars.

Bespoke Service

The brand emphasizes that guests feel a “natural connection” with every destination. This is where LXR shines with its on- and off-property amenities. For instance, Susona Bodrum in Türkiye offers guests a tour of a village to see local carpet-making, while guests at Mango House in the Seychelles can embark on an overnight cruise.

Intriguing Design

LXR Hotels & Resorts is synonymous with high-end design. You’ll see this at resorts like ROKU KYOTO, which features ancient Japanese designs, art, and architecture, and at The Biltmore Mayfair, which incorporates 20th-century design with modern details.

Unique Experiences

Each property offers unique cultural adventures, including world-class dining, luxury spa experiences, and on-property activities. Some unique experiences include dining with celebrity chefs, VIP shopping trips, and more.

Hilton Honors Credit Cards

Hilton Honors loyalists can utilize the Hilton co-branded credit cards to earn points for an amazing redemption at an LXR property. These cards offer increased earnings at Hilton properties, elite status, statement credits, and free night rewards.

Free Night Rewards

Hilton’s free night rewards are the best way to save a ton of cash on your stay. They are valid for a standard room reward at any eligible property. You can use them — and should use them — at the most expensive Hilton luxury properties, including many LXR resorts.

In fact, LXR properties are some of the best ways to redeem Hilton’s free night rewards. Cash and points rates can be steep, which means points redemptions could save you hundreds (or thousands) of dollars per night.

Hot Tip:

Holding an eligible American Express Hilton Honors credit card can earn you a free night reward. You can also earn additional free night rewards by spending on cards like the Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card or Hilton Honors American Express Surpass® Card.

The 10 Best LXR Hotels & Resorts Redemptions

1. Mango House Seychelles, LXR Hotels & Resorts (Seychelles)

Mango House Seychelles, LXR Hotels & Resorts
Mango House Seychelles, LXR Hotels & Resorts. Image Credit: Hilton

Mango House Seychelles is perhaps the best hotel in LXR’s portfolio and one of the best properties in the East African island country of Seychelles. With just 41 villas and suites — all facing the sea — Mango House is surrounded by luxury in a tranquil setting. The smallest room is nearly 500 square feet and features a balcony, floor-to-ceiling windows, complimentary Wi-Fi, and a walk-in shower.

There are 5 distinct dining options, perfect for exploring Seychellois culture through food. Amenities include direct white-sand beach access, diving excursions, watersports, a spa, 3 swimming pools, and a fitness center.

While rates aren’t the cheapest, they are reasonably priced for a destination like Seychelles. Cash rates can be found for around $600 per night, while award stays start at around 110,000 points per night.

2. Zemi Beach House, LXR Hotels & Resorts (Anguilla)

Zemi Beach House Empty Pool

Zemi Beach House is one of only a few points hotels on the Caribbean island of Anguilla and, luckily, is part of the Hilton Honors program, enabling you to earn and redeem points here.

Rooms are designed in the colonial aesthetic typical of the region, adorned in cream with dark wood paneling. Rooms start at 600 square feet, with king rooms offering a furnished balcony with ocean views. Inside the room, you’ll be greeted with walk-in glass showers, soaking tubs, Malin+Goetz toiletries, and complimentary beach bags and flip-flops.

You can spend the day lazing about on Shoal Bay Beach or by any one of the resort’s 4 outdoor pools — including an adults-only infinity pool. The resort boasts 5 restaurants, a 24-hour fitness center, a spa, and an on-site concierge to handle any requests.

You can expect to pay north of $800 nightly to stay here. Given how easy it is to earn Hilton Honors points, paying 110,000 points per night may be the better deal.

3. Umana Bali, LXR Hotels & Resorts (Indonesia)

Umana Bali
Umana Bali, LXR Hotels & Resorts. Image Credit: Hilton

Umana Bali is a boutique resort and LXR’s only resort in Southeast Asia. A true Balinese resort, it aims to reconnect guests with nature and their senses.

Every villa at the resort has its own private infinity pool and whirlpool with ocean or garden views. Villas range from 1 to 3 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 9 guests, depending on room type.

Amenities include an infinity pool, direct beach access, a fitness center, a kids’ club, meeting spaces, and a spa. UmanaBali is known for offering unique on-property perks, such as sound-based healing classes, cooking classes, and wine tasting, which gives you more ways to occupy your day.

Cash rates start at around $530 per night for a standard room. Award redemptions are 90,000 Hilton Honors points a night, a decent deal for a 5-star resort in Bali.

4. Susona Bodrum, LXR Hotels & Resorts (Türkiye)

Susona Bodrum, LXR Hotels and Resorts

Susona Bodrum is one of the best properties in Türkiye to spend your Hilton Honors points (or free night rewards).

On Türkiye’s Turquoise Coast, the resort offers 3 distinct room types: rooms, suites, and villas. All rooms include a flat-screen TV, complimentary Wi-Fi, tea facilities, and floor-to-ceiling windows. Some rooms even include private pools.

Outside your room are amenities such as a spa, tennis court, indoor and outdoor pools, and a beach club. Plus, you’ll have access to several dining options, including Malva, a Michelin Guide-listed restaurant inspired by local ingredients.

Cash rates start at around $450 per night, or you can book using Hilton Honors points at 95,000 points nightly.

5. Maysan Doha, LXR Hotels & Resorts (Qatar)

Maysan Doha

Doha is no stranger to luxury properties, and many major hotel chains have planted flags in the Middle Eastern city.

Similar to many of the LXR properties on this list, Maysan Doha is a boutique all-room-and-suites hotel. Its 33 rooms all feature king-size beds, private pools, complimentary Wi-Fi, and concierge service. Some even have deep soaking tubs.

The hotel’s signature restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and other amenities include a spa, kids’ playroom, and fitness center.

Rates start from $540 nightly in cash or 110,000 nightly with Hilton Honors points.

6. Oceana Santa Monica, LXR Hotels & Resorts (California)

Oceana Santa Monica, LXR Hotels & Resorts
Oceana Santa Monica, LXR Hotels & Resorts. Image Credit: Hilton

Oceana Santa Monica is a luxury boutique resort adjacent to the famed Palisades Park. The hotel is a few minutes away from the Santa Monica Pier, so you’ll find as many things to do off the property as you will on it.

Oceana is an all-suite hotel, so you won’t find any standard, simple rooms. All 70 suites feature Loro Piana bedding, Frette linens, Bottega Veneta bath products, and Nepalese rugs, perfect for relaxing amid the bustle of Santa Monica. The hotel offers a full spa, fitness center, 3 restaurants with food often sourced directly from the Santa Monica Farmer’s Market, and meeting space.

Given the hotel’s Santa Monica location (one of the most expensive cities in the U.S.), prices are commensurate with the area. Cash rates start at around $650 per night, while award redemptions will set you back 105,000 Hilton Honors points per night.

7. Crockfords Las Vegas, LXR Hotels & Resorts (Nevada)

Crockfords Marble Bathroom

The first thing you’ll notice about the Crockfords Las Vegas is how light and bright the hotel is. Eschewing gaudy colors, a staple of many Las Vegas hotels, the Crockfords is considerably more mature.

Away from the Las Vegas Strip, the Crockfords is part of the nearly 3,500-guest-room Resorts World complex, which includes the Las Vegas Hilton at Resorts World and Conrad Las Vegas at Resorts World.

The smallest room is a reasonable 550 square feet and offers a king bed with custom upholstered headboards, a double vanity with LED mirror, a glass-enclosed walk-in rainfall showerhead, and more. One of the cheapest LXR Hotels & Resorts properties, it offers cash rates of around $250 per night or 74,000 Hilton Honors points per night.

8. The Biltmore Mayfair, LXR Hotels & Resorts (United Kingdom)

The Biltmore Mayfair Premier Room

The Biltmore Mayfair is perhaps one of the most famous hotels in all of London.

The hotel has a whopping 250 rooms and 57 suites. All rooms are at least 237 square feet, which is a pretty decent size for London. Each standard has a king bed, a sitting area, a minibar, views of the courtyard, and a makeup table. The bathroom has a rainfall shower, a single vanity, bathrobes, a wall-mounted LED makeup mirror, and more.

Property amenities include 4 eateries, including an afternoon tea lounge, a fitness center, a courtyard, and event space (including a 5,380-square-foot ballroom).

Cash rates start at around $550 per night for a standard room. If you have Hilton Honors points, be prepared to fork over a ton — rates at the hotel can cost more than 200,000 points per night!

9. ROKU KYOTO, LXR Hotels & Resorts (Japan)

ROKU KYOTO, LXR Hotels & Resorts

Rooms at ROKU KYOTO pay homage to 16th-century Japanese artist Koetsu Honami and boast floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the Takagamine mountains.

Amenities include 3 dining options, a spa, an outdoor thermal pool, a fitness center, family-friendly activities, and charging for electric vehicles. The hotel also boasts its own teahouse, which is open daily and is also used for tea ceremony demonstrations.

Using cash, you can expect to pay around $600 per night. Using Hilton Honors points, you’ll pay 110,000 points per night.

10. Ka La’i Waikīkī Beach, LXR Hotels & Resorts (Hawaii)

Ka Lai Waikiki Beach LXR Hotels Resorts Inyo Restaurant Rendering
Ka La’i Waikīkī Beach, LXR Hotels & Resorts. Image Credit: Hilton

Our last hotel on the list is also the newest. Ka La’i Waikīkī Beach, LXR Hotels & Resorts is the first LXR property in Hawaii. Formerly the Trump International Hotel, Waikīkī, Ka La’i Waikīkī Beach is a behemoth of a property, with more than 400 rooms and suites with residential-style suites and full kitchens.

Stays at the resort start at around $500 per night. Rates using Hilton Honors points aren’t the cheapest, but you can snag a standard room for 100,000 points per night.

Bottom Line:

The hotel is undergoing renovation (scheduled to wrap up in 2025), but it’s still a solid choice for Hawaii travelers. Amenities include a 24-hour fitness center, an infinity pool with a sun deck, 5 indoor and outdoor venues and event spaces, 2 restaurants, a business center, and a library.

Final Thoughts

As you can see, LXR Hotels & Resorts properties are some of the best for redeeming Hilton Honors points. While the brand has a comparatively small footprint, it more than makes up for it by offering high-end hotels and resorts in some of the world’s most alluring destinations.
