Amazon points earned on the Prime Visa card have a fixed value of 1 cent each which results in rewards redeemed for Amazon purchases at checkout, a statement credit, or a direct deposit of equal value.

While you can redeem Amazon points for travel via Chase and Ultimate Rewards points for shopping at Amazon, neither of these options is recommended.

Amazon points have a fixed value of 1 cent each, so if redeeming for travel, a statement credit to wipe out any previous travel purchase would make more sense.
