How To Use the Amex Platinum Card Credit at Saks Fifth Avenue

I always check twice per year (before I shop) to ensure I’m enrolled in the Saks Fifth Avenue benefit, so I know there won’t be any issues getting the credit.

All you need to do is log in to your Amex account, go to benefits, and click Shop Saks With Platinum. If it indicates that you’re enrolled, you’re all set. If not, click the Enroll button.

I also set calendar alerts to remind myself to shop each year. I usually remember in the second half of the year, because I’m doing holiday shopping. However, it often slips my mind in June, and having a calendar alert set means I’ll never miss out on the credit.

Your Amex Platinum card’s Saks credit can cover the cost of a $50 purchase. Just remember you’ll still have to pay for taxes and shipping (and you don’t want to leave any extra credit unused).
