Cheese, chocolate, and beautiful scenery … what more could you want in a destination? How about arriving there in a lie-flat business class?

Our team has found plenty of availability for flights to Geneva and Zurich, Switzerland from several U.S. airports for just 60,000 points each way.

With wide-open award availability round-trip, this may be the best time to book a summer trip to Europe or a Swiss ski vacation this winter! Let’s take a look at the details.

Award Deal — Details

We are seeing wide-open availability in each direction, flying lie-flat business class on SWISS Air starting at 60,000 points when booking via Air Canada Aeroplan.

There are also options in economy for just 30,000 points if you don’t mind flying in the back of the plane on this nonstop, 8-hour flight.

  • Class: Business
  • Route: Boston (BOS), New York (JFK), Newark (EWR), and Washington, D.C. (IAD), to Geneva (GVA) and Zurich (ZRH)
  • Cost: 60,000 to 70,000 Aeroplan points and CA $77 (~$57) in taxes and fees
  • Travel Dates: January to October 2025
  • Award Seats: Up to 8 passengers per route in business, up to 9 passengers in economy

With availability for up to 8 passengers, this is a great chance to visit Switzerland or use its central location as a jumping-off point to explore Europe this summer and beyond.

How To Book

We generally recommend booking these award flights through Aeroplan. You’ll pay 60,000 points plus about $55.60 per person on flights like New York (JFK) to Geneva (GVA).

Some routes are available for the same number of miles when booking through Avianca LifeMiles, paying 60,000 miles plus $27.80 in taxes and fees per person between JFK and GVA.

No matter how you book, there is currently wide-open availability each way, both in economy and business class. Availability runs from the start of 2025 until October, so play around with dates to find the best itinerary for you.

You also can check a tool like Seats.aero to see numerous dates and routes at once.

The good thing about Aeroplan points is that you can quickly (and easily) transfer them from Amex Membership Rewards, Bilt Rewards, Capital One miles, and Chase Ultimate Rewards points to Air Canada Aeroplan at a 1:1 rate. Finally, you can even transfer from Marriott Bonvoy at a 3:1 ratio if you are in a pinch.

Hot Tip:

Our free transfer partner calculator is an excellent tool for discovering where you can use your points and miles.

Final Thoughts

Jetting off to Switzerland in business class is a dream for many. And with 60k- to 70k-point flights, we can help make that dream a reality!

If you are ready to book your flight, just navigate over to Aeroplan’s website, and you will be on your way in just a few clicks.
