Bilt Rewards will kick off 2026 with a new feature for its members.

It comes as an additional reward currency called Bilt Cash. While the points you’re used to aren’t changing or going away, the new Bilt Cash will replace Bilt’s Milestone Rewards.

“Bilt Cash will be the richest way our most valuable members receive value through our network of merchants,” Bilt said in a statement.

Let us explain this new currency and how it works.

What Is Bilt Rewards’ New ‘Bilt Cash’?

Bilt Cash is a new reward currency that will be used exclusively for spending within the Bilt network.

Bilt Rewards members earn an instant $50 in Bilt Cash for every 25,000 Bilt Points earned. Members then have several options when it comes to spending their Bilt Cash at face value, meaning $1 of Bilt Cash is worth $1 at local merchants in the Bilt network.

Members can use their Bilt Cash to save money when dining out (when using mobile checkout), discounts on hotels in Bilt’s Travel Portal, Bilt Home Delivery orders, fitness classes, and more.

Since over 40,000 merchants partner with Bilt, there will be no shortage of ways to spend Bilt Cash.

Alternatively, members can opt to use Bilt Cash to upgrade their Bilt Rewards status on specific occasions.

For example, a Silver member could use Bilt Cash to get one-time access to the potential transfer bonuses that Gold status members can access on Bilt’s monthly Rent Day. Alternatively, members could buy up to a Platinum tier to get early access to tickets that are likely to sell out during Rent Day.

Bilt has yet to provide details on exactly how much Bilt Cash will be required for a status upgrade. In a closed briefing for media outlets this week, Bilt executives said those details will announced later and that the amount of Bilt Cash needed will likely vary based on the offer and demand.

When Bilt Cash goes live on January 1, 2026, it will replace Bilt Milestone Rewards.

“Don’t worry, any Milestone Rewards claimed before the end of the year will stay active until they expire, or you’ve earned the maximum amount of points for that Milestone Reward,” said Bilt.

We can expect to hear from Bilt again before the end of the year with more details on how members can earn, and, more importantly, spend Bilt Cash.

Hot Tip:

Despite Bilt being a relatively new entrant to the world of points and miles, it already has a solid network of transfer partners that can provide great value when redeeming your Bilt points.

Final Thoughts

Since launching in March 2022, Bilt Rewards has provided its members with quality perks and benefits in an ever-expanding range of partnerships. Bilt Cash is an example of how the brand continues to look for new ways to reward its 5 million members.

Starting in 2026, Milestone Rewards will go away. Bilt Cash will become a second currency in the program, worth face value toward redemptions within Bilt’s ecosystem.
