The latest Wyndham Rewards promotion allows you to purchase Wyndham points with up to an 80% bonus, available until July 3, 2026. If you have this bonus, you can buy Wyndham points at just 0.76 cents each.

However, not everyone will see the 80% offer, as Wyndham regularly provides targeted offers, giving some customers higher bonuses than others.

Here are the details of the promotion, an analysis of whether it’s a good deal, and a look at how you can put these points to good use.

Buy Wyndham Points With an 80% Bonus

Through July 3, 2026, you can buy Wyndham Rewards points with up to an 80% bonus. You may have a different offer in your account, so it pays to verify. This promotion doesn’t have tiers, though; as long as you buy at least 3,000 points, you’ll get a bonus.

If you have the 80% bonus, here are the tiers and prices for buying points:

  • Buy 1,000–2,000 points without a bonus
  • Buy 3,000–200,000 points with an 80% bonus (0.76 cents per point)
  • Direct link to offer

The 80% bonus is available even to people who don’t have a Wyndham Rewards credit card.

We value Wyndham points at 0.9 cents apiece. Because you can buy points for less than their average value, these prices are reasonable. Depending on what you plan to redeem these points for, buying them at 0.76 cents apiece could make sense.

Before we tackle that, here are the other terms of the promotion you should be aware of:

  • The promotion runs from now until July 3, 2026.
  • The maximum purchase during this promotion is 200,000 points (before the bonus)
  • A minimum of 3,000 points is required to trigger the bonus.
  • Points will be posted to the recipient’s Wyndham Rewards account within 72 hours after the completed transaction.
  • Points purchases do not count toward Member Levels.
  • Point purchases are nonrefundable.
  • Not everyone will have the 80% bonus offer.

Is It Worth It?

Wyndham offers 3 categories of award redemptions. That makes the program easy to understand.

Here’s a look at redemption rates for all 3 categories of Wyndham properties, along with the cash price you’d pay for the points if you were to maximize this promotion with an 80% bonus (paying 0.76 cents per point):

  • Category 1 (7,500 points per night): As low as $57
  • Category 2 (15,000 points per night): As low as $114
  • Category 3 (30,000 points per night): As low as $228

Depending on the property you’d like to visit, it could certainly be worth purchasing points at these rates. Being able to book free nights at Wyndham properties starting at $57 per night can be a phenomenal deal.

Don’t forget, though, that Wyndham Rewards is a 1:1 transfer partner of Bilt Rewards, Capital One miles, Chase Ultimate Rewards, and Citi ThankYou Rewards. Wyndham is a 1:2 transfer partner of Wells Fargo Rewards. If you currently have a large balance of either of these currencies, it might make more sense to transfer instead of purchasing new points.

Final Thoughts

Buying Wyndham points with an 80% bonus means you can purchase them at a price below their average worth. If you’re targeted for the 80% bonus, you can take home points for just 0.76 cents apiece. Buying points won’t always make sense, but if you can redeem them at a higher value than what you paid for them, it could be a viable play.

If you are interested in taking advantage of the promotion, make sure you do so before it ends on July 3.
