The Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card is often pitted as one of the best cards for points and miles newbies.
That said, if you’re thinking of starting your points and miles journey then now might be a good time to start as the welcome bonus for the card has increased by 25,000 miles to a whopping 75,000 miles.
Still not sure if this card’s for you? Let’s investigate further.
Earn 75,000 Bonus Miles With the Capital One Venture Card
Before we dig in, to unlock the 75,000 bonus miles, new cardholders will need to spend $4,000 on the card within the first 3 months of opening their account.
By Upgraded Points’ valuations, 75,000 bonus miles equate to a cash value of around $1,350.
There are, of course, other perks for cardholders to enjoy in addition to the welcome bonus.
First and foremost, you’ll be rewarded with miles every time you make a purchase with the card:
- 5 miles per $1 spent on hotels and rental cars booked through Capital One Travel
- 2 miles per $1 on every purchase
Other benefits include:
- Up to $100 credit for Global Entry or TSA PreCheck
- 2x free visits to a Capital One Lounge every year
- Hertz Five Star status
- No foreign transaction fees (rates & fees)
- Access to Capital One transfer partners
The card is also one of the cheapest on the market, costing just $95 annually (rates & fees) for all those benefits and miles.

Where Can 75,000 Bonus Miles Get You?
The quick answer to that is, pretty much anywhere you want, thanks to Capital One’s wide selection of hotel and airline transfer partners.
From airline programs such as Air Canada Aeroplan, British Airways Executive Club, and Emirates Skywards to hotel programs such as ALL — Accor Live Limitless and Choice Privileges, you have dozens of possibilities to spend your bonus miles as well as all the miles you’ll earn from your daily spending.
For example, transferring 68,000 bonus miles to the Emirates Skywards program would mean you’d have enough miles to check out Emirates’ famous first class from New York (JFK) to Milan (MXP). A one-way ticket would set you back 67,500 Skywards miles.
How will you spend yours?
Final Thoughts
The welcome bonus for the Capital One Venture card has just been increased to 75,000 — that’s enough miles to fly Emirates first class!
This offer might not be around for long, so do some quick math and act fast to ensure you don’t miss out.
