Delta Air Lines is expanding at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) with 3 new routes, plus expanded frequencies.

“With these new routes and expanded service, Delta is building on a strong foundation in Austin and creating more ways for our customers to get where they want to go,” said Paul Baldoni, senior vice president of network planning.

Here’s what you need to know about Delta’s big expansion in the Lone Star State.

New Delta Service From Austin Starting in November

Delta Air Lines will begin nonstop service from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) to Columbus, Ohio (CMH), Denver (DEN), and Kansas City (MCI).

Here’s a look at the new routes and their frequencies:

Delta Connection partner SkyWest will operate the new flights. SkyWest uses its workhorse Embraer 175 aircraft, which is equipped with First Class, Delta Comfort, and Main Cabin.

Additionally, Delta will also boost service from Austin to San Francisco (SFO) — increasing flights from once-daily to twice-daily as of April 13, 2026. Finally, Delta will triple flights from Austin to Indianapolis (IND), increasing from 1x daily to 3x daily. The expansion begins June 7, 2026.

Bottom Line:

Delta will be late to the game on some of these new routes. For instance, Frontier Airlines, Southwest Airlines, and United Airlines already fly the AUS-DEN route.

How To Book

Unfortunately, flights don’t seem to be available yet, so we’re unable to see how much they’ll cost in cash or with Delta SkyMiles.

Still, you’ll want to be able to check the cost of booking the new routes with SkyMiles when they do become available. If you need to boost your balance for these new flights (or others), here are some ways to earn Delta SkyMiles:

Final Thoughts

Delta is expanding its presence in Austin with several exciting new domestic routes. While most of these routes are already covered by competitors, this is excellent news for SkyMiles loyalists who will be able to earn and redeem miles with the airline.
