Delta Air Lines has grown its swanky Delta One Lounge network with a dining-focused lounge that opened at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) on December 11, 2024.

Here’s everything you need to know about the newest Delta One Lounge at BOS — and how to get inside!

New Delta One Lounge Open in Boston

The Delta One Lounge at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) is now open for Delta Air Lines‘ premium guests.

The lounge spans 6,700 square feet. Guests can access the lounge via the Delta Sky Club inside Terminal E à la speakeasy-style.

Unlike the New York (JFK) Delta One Lounge, the lounge in Boston is dining-centered, with other lounge amenities like the showers and business suites found inside the connected Sky Club. Like the connected Sky Club, the Delta One Lounge in Boston pays homage to the city’s maritime heritage, with nods to “Old Ironsides,” sailing, and fishing as part of Boston’s culture past and present.

The most exclusive amenity is the 3-course meal, which the airline says it serves in under an hour.

Dishes include crab cake, octopus carpaccio, cod Milanese, New England pan roast, steak tartare, and the Delta One burger. Guests can also choose from a catch of the day and both seafood and vegetarian versions of New England chowder.

The lounge operates daily from 2 to 9 p.m., aligned with Delta One flights departing from Terminal E. As the first of those flights doesn’t depart until the afternoon, hours at this lounge are much shorter than you’ll find in other locations.

Accessing the Delta One Lounge at BOS

The Delta One Lounge is Delta’s flagship lounge network. It has a small presence, at least for now, with locations in New York (JFK), Los Angeles (LAX), and now Boston. More are coming, as the airline has plans for Delta One Lounges in Salt Lake City (SLC) and Seattle (SEA).

With the new Delta One Lounges reserved for the airline’s most premium customers, accessing one of these lounges isn’t easy. Keep in mind that the Delta One Lounge is different from the Delta Sky Club lounges, so the usual way you’d access those lounges (such as through a premium credit card) won’t apply here. To get into the Boston Delta One Lounge, you will need:

  • A ticket in Delta One business class, departing or arriving on the same day
  • Invitation-only Delta 360 status, departing or arriving on the same day in Delta first class
  • Flying on a same-day departing or connecting flight operated by select Delta partners in their business class cabins (or first class, if they have it), including LATAM, Korean Air, and Virgin Atlantic

The rules for access to the Boston lounge are even more restrictive than for the other Delta One Lounges, since business-class passengers on Air France and KLM, who get access elsewhere, are excluded here. Delta says on its site that this is “due to capacity constraints at our lounge in Boston.” Air France and KLM passengers can use the Air France lounge in Terminal E or the regular Delta Sky Clubs in Terminals A and E. This is understandable due to the small size of the Boston lounge.

Bottom Line:

No guests are permitted inside any Delta One Lounges except for Delta 360 members. And even their guests can’t enter the lounge for free. They’ll need to pay a $100 fee. These restrictions, ostensibly, are to cut down on overcrowding issues that plague the Sky Club network and other airport lounge networks.

Final Thoughts

A new high-end Delta One Lounge has opened in Boston, just a few months after the lounge in Los Angeles opened. While some of the features visitors want will be located next door in the Sky Club, not within the Delta One Lounge itself, this lounge likely offers the best dining you can get at Boston’s airport.
