Select Marriott Bonvoy members are being targeted for a unique promotion where you can earn up to 5,000 Marriott Bonvoy points for taking a weekend stay, as noted by Miles to Memories. While the promotion isn’t offering a ton of points, it’s worth checking your Marriott Bonvoy account to see if you were targeted as you may have upcoming stays.

The Offer

For this offer, you’ll want to check either the Marriott website or the Marriott mobile app to see if you were targeted. If you see the promotion available, make sure to register before booking to participate in the offer.

This offer has 2 conditions — you’ll first earn 2,000 points after your first weekend stay, and then you’ll earn 3,000 points after your second weekend stay. The promotion runs through November 30, 2023.

In order to take advantage of this promotion, you first need to complete a stay that includes a Friday or Saturday night. Your stay can be as long or as short as you like, so long as it has 1 of those nights in it. Only eligible (paid) rates will count, so if you’re redeeming points or a free night certificate, these will not count for this offer.

Your stays also need to be separate; you can’t simply checkout and check back in at the same hotel. That said, if you need to complete your stays within the same cities, try changing hotels on Saturday night and checking into a different property. When you do, that would qualify you for the remaining 3,000 points. Once you complete your stays, you’ll see the points post to your account within 3 to 5 business days.

While 5,000 Bonvoy points on their own won’t get you anything, you can build up these points to redeem for free nights or transfer to a whole host of airline transfer partners. Since you’ve got several months to complete the offer, it likely will be quite easy to complete 2 weekend stays.
