“Tulum’s captivating mix of natural beauty, rich culture, and bohemian spirit aligns perfectly with Moxy’s bold, playful vibe—making it an ideal destination for our next chapter,” said Brian King, president of the Caribbean and Latin America at Marriott.

First Moxy Hotel in the Caribbean and Latin America

Moxy Tulum has opened with 122 guest rooms, located near the National Jaguar Park and just minutes from the Mayan Ruins. Like other Moxy hotels, this one offers a variety of room types, including double rooms and those with bunk beds.

Amenities include the Moxy Bar & Restaurant, a rooftop pool, and activities like DJ nights and themed parties. The hotel also features 2 spas, including a traditional temazcal, which is an ancient Mexican ritual that combines physical, emotional, and spiritual purification.

This is the debut of the Moxy brand in the Caribbean and Latin America.

With over 160 properties open in more than 30 countries, Moxy is known for its stylish, playful, and relaxed hotels. Each Moxy hotel is known for offering social public spaces, such as the Lounge and Library, fitness centers, artsy lobbies, and grab-and-go food and beverage options.

One thing Moxy is known for is its micro-sized rooms. While small, they still feature walk-in showers, premium amenities, and high-thread-count bedding.

If you’re looking for an affordable getaway in Mexico, look no further than the new Moxy Tulum. It is one of the most affordable points hotels we’ve seen in the region — and that’s true whether you’re using points or cash. However, we’re also impressed by the hotel’s extensive range of amenities and multiple room types.
