Wyndham Rewards members now have a new way to maximize their vacations: bundling Carnival cruises with flights, hotels, and more while earning rewards for every part of their journey.

Through the newly launched Wyndham Travel Bundles platform, members can seamlessly book entire trips — including pre- and post-cruise hotel stays, car rentals, and excursions — while earning Wyndham Rewards points across multiple categories.

This partnership aims to offer members a more streamlined and rewarding way to plan vacations. Plus, with bonus points available during Wyndham’s Member Month promotion, this new platform adds another layer of value for travelers who prioritize earning and redeeming rewards.

While the concept of bundling is appealing, there are some important restrictions and details to consider before booking.

Wyndham’s New Partnership With Carnival

The new partnership between Wyndham Rewards and Carnival Cruise Line brings a fresh approach to vacation planning. Wyndham Rewards members can now bundle their Carnival cruises with other travel components, such as flights, rental cars, and hotel stays.

Members will earn:

  • 1 Wyndham Rewards point per $1 spent on cruise, airfare, and car rental bookings
  • Up to 10 points per $1 spent on qualifying hotel stays and activities booked through the platform

Plus, members can “double dip” on points and miles by earning with Wyndham Rewards and other loyalty programs for flights, cruises, and rentals. This is done by entering your airline or cruise rewards number when checking in and earning with those programs as well.

To sweeten the deal, members can also take advantage of a limited-time double points promotion included in Wyndham’s Member Month, earning twice the usual Wyndham Rewards points for all Travel Bundle bookings through April 30, 2025. Travel must be completed by December 31, 2025, to qualify.

The bundles must include at least a 1-night stay at a Wyndham property, and all bookings are subject to varying cancellation and modification policies based on vendor terms.

Wyndham and Carnival are also promising discounts of up to 50% for Wyndham Rewards members when booking cruises. You’ll need to watch for these when booking because the exact amount may vary by property.

Hot Tip:

We value Wyndham Rewards points at 0.9 cents apiece. Earning 10x points provides a 9% return on your spending.

Is It Worth It?

This partnership offers clear benefits for travelers who want to combine multiple elements of their trip into a single booking. By bundling, members can streamline vacation planning and earn Wyndham Rewards points across various categories. The ability to double dip on loyalty points adds extra value, making this an attractive option for frequent travelers.

However, there are some limitations to consider. The bundling platform requires a minimum 1-night Wyndham hotel stay, which may not fit every traveler’s itinerary. Additionally, while members can earn points on airfare, cruises, and car rentals, the redemption opportunities for those categories remain limited to Wyndham Rewards’ core offering: hotel stays.

Cancellation and modification policies are also a mixed bag, with some components requiring changes within 24 hours of booking. Travelers need to carefully review terms to avoid potential inconveniences. Finally, while the double points promotion is enticing, it’s a temporary perk and doesn’t address long-term benefits for repeat customers.

Final Thoughts

The Wyndham Travel Bundles platform adds exciting new opportunities for Wyndham Rewards members, making it easier to book and earn points for comprehensive vacation packages. With the ability to double dip on loyalty points and take advantage of a limited-time promotion, this offering brings strong value for those planning Carnival cruises.

However, travelers should carefully check change and cancellation policies before making a payment.
