In this guide, we’ll be walking you through the best properties in The Unbound Collection by Hyatt that you can book using World of Hyatt points.

This guide won’t be limited to a particular area — we’ll be taking you around the world in this spectacular guide!

1. Rancho Pescadero (El Pescadero, Mexico)

Rancho Pescadero is a new World of Hyatt property in beautiful Baja California Sur. Even though this region is known for its resorts in Los Cabos, this particular hotel is closer to the Todos Santos area, which is much quieter and secluded.

This adults-only property is right on the Pacific Ocean’s shores and next to San Pedrito Beach on a beautiful stretch of coastline.

Each of the refined rooms features authentic Baja culture and a choice of 1 king bed or 2 queen beds. The king bed rooms feature garden views, while the 2 queen bed rooms have coastal views. Rooms have original Mexican crafts, premium bedding, a private terrace with a daybed, and a minibar with snacks. There’s also a desk, flat-screen TV, coffee and tea facilities, and closet space.

The rustic bathrooms have double sinks, a walk-in rainfall shower, and a separate water closet. Also available are bathrobes, sleeping kits, sandals, and organic biodegradable bathroom amenities.

While you’re here, you can keep yourself busy with table games, beach amenities, access to the hydrotherapy circuit and gym, daily programmed Discovery Experiences, as well as complimentary use of fishing roads, surfboards, bikes, and beach coolers. You’ll also find 2 outdoor pools, a full spa, daily yoga classes, cabanas, direct beach access, and a series of additional activities and excursions that can be planned with the concierge team.

This north-of-Cabo resort has 3 signature restaurants and bars serving organic farm-to-table fare, offering Baja wine tastings, and offering a variety of culinary classes to boot.

This lovely property is a World of Hyatt Category 7 hotel, costing 25,000 points per off-peak night, 30,000 points per standard night, or 35,000 points per peak night.

You’ll rarely see paid rates lower than $900 per night, and the average rate sits at around $1,300 per night for a standard room. In rare instances, the average room rate can exceed $1,700 per night.

2. Carmel Valley Ranch (Carmel, California)

Our runner-up favorite property is located on U.S. soil — right on northern California’s beautiful scenery. The destination resort Carmel Valley Ranch sits on 500 acres in Carmel Valley and is a short drive away from Garland Ranch Regional Park and Carmel Bay.

Each standard room is a studio measuring 650 to 700 square feet large. There are a few standard rooms available with points — go for the Vineyard Oak Studio with King and Outdoor Tub if you can!

This room has a king bed, a private, furnished deck with an outdoor soaking tub with oak tree views of the vineyards, and a 2-sided fireplace. Within the room, you’ll find a work desk, flat-screen TV, minifridge, Nespresso machine, and blackout curtains.

The stone bathroom contains a double vanity, a walk-in rain shower, another soaking bathtub, bathrobes, slippers, and branded bath and body products.

This hotel’s dining options include a signature Californian restaurant, a casual grill, a poolside eatery, and a cafe offering artisanal classes and activities.

On the property’s vast grounds, you’ll discover a golf course, 9 tennis courts, 2 outdoor saltwater pools, a fitness center, a spa, and a business center.

Carmel Valley Ranch falls under World of Hyatt’s Category 8 designation, which makes it cost 35,000 points per night during off-peak dates, 40,000 points per night during standard dates, and 45,000 points per night during peak dates.

This high-end hotel sees paid rates starting at $500 per night, though those dates are rare. On average, you should expect to see paid rates of $700 per night with the highs coming in at more than $1,300 per night.

3. Royal Palms Resort and Spa (Scottsdale, Arizona)

Another fantastic 5-star property you can book using World of Hyatt points in The Unbound Collection by Hyatt is Scottsdale’s Royal Palms Resort and Spa. This Spanish Colonial-inspired property is 1 mile from Camelback Mountain and 6 miles from the Phoenix Zoo.

Each of the remodeled rooms is outfitted with 1 king bed or 2 double beds, a desk, a sitting area with a lounge chair, a Keurig coffee machine, tea facilities, and a minibar.

Bathrooms have a clawfoot bathtub, walk-in rain shower, oversized single vanity, bathrobes, slippers, and designer amenities, as well as a lighted make-up mirror.

On the property, there’s a Mediterranean restaurant, a cocktail lounge, and a poolside cafe. Plus, private dining is available.

In addition, you’ll find a full-service spa, a gym, yoga, a steam room, an outdoor pool, plus a hot tub.

This lovely hotel is a World of Hyatt Category 6 resort, which will cost 21,000 points per off-peak night, 25,000 points per standard night, and 29,000 points per peak night.

Your own personal slice of Arizona paradise can be booked for $450 per night during the cold season or $1,200 per night during the peak high season. The average hovers around $600 per night, though.

4. Hôtel du Louvre (Paris, France)

Hotel du Louvre is one of our favorite city hotels you can book in The Unbound Collection by Hyatt. Located straight across from the Louvre, this lovely 5-star hotel is a short 13-minute walk from Musée d’Orsay, too. It’s also just steps away from the closest metro station.

The rooms are petite — to be expected from a hotel in the most enviable Parisian location. Each standard room is 215 square feet large with 1 king bed or 2 twin beds. You’ll also notice a flat-screen TV, minifridge, Lavazza coffee machine and tea kettle, a desk, and an in-room safe.

The bathroom has a walk-in rainfall shower, bathrobes, slippers, a single vanity, and Fragonard bath amenities.

At the hotel, there’s a bright Parisian brasserie, a cocktail and tea lounge with a glass roof, and 24/7 room service.

There’s also a fitness room, a 24/7 business center, and 8 meeting rooms available here.

The Hotel du Louvre is a Category 7 hotel, which will run you 25,000 points per night during off-peak dates, 30,000 points per night during standard dates, and 35,000 points per night during peak dates.

This prime hotel easily charges $500 per night on the low end. In some instances, you’ll have to pay upwards of $850 per night to stay here. The average rate is around $650 per night.

5. The Lost Stone Villas & Spa (Yunnan, China)

One of the most intriguing hotels in The Unbound Collection by Hyatt is The Lost Stone Villas & Spa. This hotel is mysterious because it opened after the pandemic started, and China has been mostly closed off to the rest of the world.

Nonetheless, this property offers its guests a spiritual journey through and through, including through its calming architectural design by Kengo Kuma. This property is on the border of the Yunfeng Mountain Scenic Area in the Yunnan province.

In total, there are 50 villas on the grounds, and the standard room is a 1 bedroom villa with 1 king bed and a hot spring pool. They feature a flat-screen TV, a minifridge, a private hot spring pool, a courtyard, 2 toilet rooms, a spa chamber, and a shower room. There’s even a “little kitchen,” according to the room amenities!

Dining options consist of LiSu Ethnic Restaurant, an all-day restaurant, and HeShun Collection Old Museum serving unique local dishes. There’s also a vegetarian restaurant, too.

The hotel also offers spa treatments, a hot spring pool, and meeting space.

To book a stay at this World of Hyatt Category 6 hotel in China, you’ll spend 21,000 points per off-peak night, 25,000 points per standard night, and 29,000 points per peak night.

6. Mar Monte Hotel (Santa Barbara, California)

Mar Monte Hotel is one of the few hotels in Santa Barbara that’s actually situated on the beach. This fantastic boutique hotel will have you walking just steps from the beach — the 1930s Spanish Colonial hotel is also just 1 mile from Stearns Wharf and 3 miles from the Santa Barbara Museum of Art.

There are 200 total rooms and suites in this hotel, each starting at 225 square feet in size with 1 king bed or 2 queen beds. Although you’re paying more for the location of this hotel, there are still 4-star amenities like a Keurig machine, a desk, a minifridge, and a flat-screen TV.

The bathrooms are outfitted with a single vanity, a walk-in shower, and upscale bath and body products.

There are 2 dining options consisting of an Italian restaurant serving coastal cuisine and a Mediterranean cafe and cocktail bar.

You’ll even find an outdoor pool, hot tub, fire pit, gym, and of course, direct beach access to Santa Barbara’s finest beaches.

Your own slice of beachfront Santa Barbara luxury can be yours by spending at World of Hyatt’s Category 6 level, which is 21,000 points per night during off-peak dates, 25,000 points per night during standard dates, and 29,000 points per night during peak dates.

Magma Resort Santorini has 59 rooms and suites, each starting with 323 square feet of space and an extra king bed, a furnished balcony, and a sitting area with a couch and a lounge chair.
