While all of the Hyatt Zilara resorts are unique, there are amenities you can count on at all locations:

Hyatt has 11 all-inclusive brands, including Hyatt Ziva. Hyatt Ziva properties are similar to Zilara resorts, but they’re family-friendly and not limited to adults.

How To Use Hyatt Points To Book Hyatt Zilara Resorts

The process of booking a Hyatt Zilara resort with points is the same as booking any other Hyatt hotel with points, except for one detail: the number of people traveling.

Since Hyatt Zilara resorts are all-inclusive, the price is based on the number of people staying in the room, so it’s important to enter this information correctly, regardless of whether you’re paying the cash rate or using World of Hyatt points.

When you’re paying in points, the cost is based on double occupancy, meaning you pay the same price whether there are 1 or 2 people in the room. If you’re paying the cash rate, the cost for 1 person is lower than for 2 people.

If you’re planning on having 3 or 4 adults in 1 room, you’ll have a harder time finding award availability. During our research for this post, we only found award nights for 3 or 4 people at 1 resort: Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall. The other Hyatt Zilara locations only allowed points bookings for 1 or 2 people.

You could, however, use points to upgrade your room to a suite at all 4 locations.

There are 4 Hyatt Zilara locations across Mexico, Jamaica, and the Dominican Republic. Rates in both cash and points can fluctuate wildly throughout the year, especially thanks to Hyatt’s new award chart, which has 5 categories instead of 3 categories. When you’re calculating whether to use cash or points on your Hyatt Zilara stay, we recommend getting at least 1.4 cents per point, which is our current valuation of World of Hyatt points.

1. Hyatt Zilara Cancun (Mexico)

In the heart of the city’s Hotel Zone, Hyatt Zilara Cancun, a Category E property, sits on a white-sand beach overlooking the Caribbean Sea. It’s conveniently close to many of Cancún’s most popular attractions, but there’s no shame in relaxing at the resort all day long.

All 310 rooms are large suites with at least 653 square feet of space. Each room has a furnished balcony with a hammock and an in-room minibar, while some suites have swim-up pool access and even exclusive cabana access.

You can grab a drink at the beachfront infinity pool’s swim-up bar or enjoy the Olympic-size lap pool. The resort organizes classes and games throughout the day, as well as nightly live entertainment. The Sky Gym has everything you need to stay active, while the Zen Spa offers complete relaxation.

There are 6 restaurants plus multiple bars at Hyatt Zilara Cancun. Try Asian or Caribbean cuisine one night and then opt for Mexican or the international buffet the next. Guests staying in certain room categories can try Chef’s Plate, a restaurant serving a 5-course gourmet meal with wine pairings suggested by the resident sommelier.

2. Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana (Dominican Republic)

On Juanillo Beach, the Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana, a Category F property, is a tropical paradise just 15 minutes south of Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ).

Each of the resort’s 375 suites offers at least 600 square feet of space with ocean or resort views, along with a private balcony or patio, free Wi-Fi, and a stocked in-room minibar.

This resort offers guests everything they need for a spectacular vacation. There’s a pristine, white-sand beach and multiple pools, including a beachfront infinity pool with a swim-up bar. At Canapolis Water Park, also on the property, guests can relax in the lazy river or get their thrills at any of the 7 waterslides.

The massive 14,000-square-foot fitness center features Zumba, spinning, cardio equipment, TRX training, and Pilates. Plus, there are plenty of daily fitness classes. After a day of activities, guests can enjoy the resort’s nightly live entertainment.

There’s no shortage of dining at Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana, including everything from French, Polynesian, Caribbean, and Indian cuisine to a steakhouse and a pizzeria. There’s also a coffee lounge and a martini bar in addition to the lobby lounge and 2 swim-up bars.

3. Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall (Jamaica)

About 20 minutes from Montego Bay, Jamaica, Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall, a Category E property, is a coveted spot for an adults-only Caribbean vacation.

All guestrooms have a private balcony or patio overlooking the pool, gardens, or beach and a stocked minibar. Some suites even offer direct pool access.

Guests can stay active all day long at Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall. There’s everything from boogie boards and snorkeling to kayaks and catamarans. The fitness center offers daily classes, including aqua gym and water spin.

There are plenty of places to eat and drink at the resort. Options include fine French cuisine, Italian, Asian, Jamaican barbecue, and even an English pub. In addition, there’s a coffee bar, piano bar, and multiple pool bars throughout the property.

4. Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya

Set about 40 minutes south of Cancún, the Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya, a Category C property, is one of the most affordable on this list using points, but it’s still a luxurious, adult-centric getaway. It was renovated and rebranded in 2022 as a Zilara property and features the gorgeous Zen Spa, 2 main pools, a hot tub, a gym, and plenty of activities, games, and shops to keep you occupied during your stay. You can take Zumba classes, indulge in tequila tastings, and try your luck at water sports.

Guest rooms and suites feature spa-inspired bathrooms with rainfall showers, complimentary minibars, and balconies or patios with ocean views.

The hotel has 9 restaurants and bars, including Lola Beach Restaurant, which serves Mexican fare, and Tempest, the Asian restaurant.
