Authentic Circle Loyalty Program

Authentic Circle is the brand’s loyalty program. Authentic Circle status is granted after a guest’s 10th qualifying night at any of the 3 Miraval locations in a calendar year. Once Authentic Circle status is earned, it’s good for the remainder of that calendar year and the entire next calendar year.

Each of the 10 qualifying nights can be spent at any of Miraval’s 3 locations. A qualifying night is any night where a guest pays a full-priced rate.

The following rates are not considered qualifying and, therefore, won’t count toward Miraval Authentic Circle status:

Hot Tip: Guests who had Authentic Circle status as of December 31, 2022, were granted lifetime status. There is currently no other way to earn lifetime Authentic Circle status.

Is Miraval Authentic Circle Worth It?

The big question you may have is, “Is earning Miraval’s Authentic Circle status worth it?” That depends on what kind of traveler you are.

If you happen to have 10 paid nights at Miraval planned during a calendar year, then obviously, earning Authentic Circle will be worth it. You’ll enjoy some nice perks and extra discounts on future stays with the status.

For someone who enjoys using World of Hyatt points for luxury stays like this, you’ll be out of luck because only full-priced paid stays count toward status.

Unfortunately, that will make it difficult for some travelers to earn Authentic Circle status.

How To Book a Stay at Miraval Using Hyatt Points

Since 2017, Miraval Resorts has been a part of the Hyatt brand of families, which means you can use World of Hyatt points to book a stay at Miraval.

Since Miraval is all-inclusive, the pricing is per person, so you’ll need to correctly enter the number of people in your reservation. For a free night redemption, it costs an extra 17,500 to 22,000 points per night to add a second person to the reservation, and for a cash + points redemption, you’ll pay an extra 8,750 to 11,000 points per night for a second guest.

Miraval Resort Fee

One of the biggest benefits of booking Miraval Resorts using World of Hyatt points is that the resort fee will be waived. This is an especially big deal at Miraval because the resort fee is a whopping 25% of the room cost (not including taxes and fees). At that rate, you can easily be paying hundreds of dollars extra per night.

The resort fee at Miraval indeed includes a lot, but at the same time, it includes the things that guests would assume are part of the all-inclusive package (and many of Hyatt’s other all-inclusive brands don’t have resort fees).

However you look at it, resort fees are a frustrating part of travel, but thankfully they can be avoided at Miraval by booking with World of Hyatt points.

Bottom Line: While you won’t be able to earn qualifying nights that count toward Authentic Circle status by booking Miraval Resorts with World of Hyatt points, you’ll get excellent value from your points, and you’ll avoid paying resort fees.
