Miraval Resorts & Spas is a brand of wellness-focused luxury resorts that emphasize creating a “life in balance.” There are 3 locations in the U.S., and even though the brand has a small footprint, it has its own loyalty program — Miraval Authentic Circle.
Miraval also happens to be a part of the World of Hyatt program, which makes it especially intriguing to those of us who love using points for luxury hotel stays.
In this post, we’ll take a quick look at what’s included in a Miraval stay, and we’ll go over the details of how to earn Miraval Authentic Circle status, plus the benefits you’ll get once you earn it.
What Is Miraval?
Miraval is a brand of luxury, adults-only, all-inclusive resorts that focus on wellness, being in the present moment, and creating balance. The original Miraval location in Tucson, Arizona, opened in 1995, intending to combine mindfulness with luxury accommodations to create a one-of-a-kind wellness experience.
Since its opening, the brand has continued to expand. There are currently 3 Miraval locations — Miraval Arizona, Miraval Austin, which opened in 2019, and Miraval Berkshires, which opened in 2020. A fourth location, Miraval The Red Sea, is set to open in 2025.

Miraval Resorts & Spas are all-inclusive, so while the room rates can be high, a lot is included:
- $175 nightly credit per person (can be used for additional activities or spa treatments)
- Activities
- Airport transfers
- Food and non-alcoholic beverages
- Gratuities
- Valet parking
Authentic Circle Loyalty Program
Authentic Circle is the brand’s loyalty program. Authentic Circle status is granted after a guest’s 10th qualifying night at any of the 3 Miraval locations in a calendar year. Once Authentic Circle status is earned, it’s good for the remainder of that calendar year and the entire next calendar year.
Each of the 10 qualifying nights can be spent at any of Miraval’s 3 locations. A qualifying night is any night where a guest pays a full-priced rate.
The following rates are not considered qualifying and, therefore, won’t count toward Miraval Authentic Circle status:
- Colleague rates
- Complimentary stays
- Day spa reservations
- Discount rates
- Friends and family rates
- Media, industry, or vendor stays
- Nights booked using World of Hyatt points
- Travel agent bookings
Hot Tip: Guests who had Authentic Circle status as of December 31, 2022, were granted lifetime status. There is currently no other way to earn lifetime Authentic Circle status.
