Rove Miles is a loyalty program that launched in 2025. It combines 12 airline and hotel loyalty programs into a single currency, allowing users to earn and redeem miles through its dedicated travel portal.

With a dozen transfer partners — plus more to come — you have a new way to earn and redeem miles for luxury travel experiences, such as flights and hotels.

Here’s a complete, in-depth guide to Rove Miles, one of the newest loyalty programs to debut.

What Is Rove Miles?

Billing itself as the first “universal airline mile,” Rove Miles is a new loyalty program seeking to disrupt the industry with its Rove Miles currency.

The platform is the brainchild of founders Arhan Chhabra and Max Morganroth, both of whom have experience with start-ups from their time at Harvard and Wharton, respectively. The program aims to provide ways to earn points and miles without requiring a credit card, which is often dependent on factors such as creditworthiness, income, and other key factors.

“Especially in the U.S., Gen Z is the demographic that wants to travel more than any other demographic,” founder Max Morganroth told Upgraded Points. “But they’re the ones who have almost no access to the programs and tools that make travel cheaper, so we wanted to build a program revolving around that.”

Rove Miles Transfer Partners — Airlines and Hotels

Perhaps one of the best ways to redeem Rove Miles is through Rove’s 12 airline and hotel transfer partners. Between its dozen programs, you are covered by all 3 major airline alliances: Oneworld, Star Alliance, and SkyTeam.

There are numerous ways to utilize your rewards for both domestic and international travel. All points transfer at a 1:1 ratio.

Here’s a look at Rove’s transfer partners:

Earning With Rove Miles

Rove offers numerous ways to earn points, which you can then redeem for flights, hotels, and more (which we’ll discuss in depth below).

Here’s how much you’ll earn by category:

  • Up to 25x miles on cash hotel stays: Book at over 200,000 hotels, with nonrefundable hotel bookings earning miles instantly
  • 1-10x miles on cash flights
  • Everyday purchases: Depends on the merchant

You can earn Rove Miles from booking flights, reserving hotels, or shopping online at over 7,000 stores through the Rove Miles portal or Chrome extension. Rove doesn’t have its own credit card; however, every earn method on the Rove Miles platform stacks on top of credit card rewards, so you can earn Rove Miles in addition to your everyday credit card’s points and miles. You can even stack with offers from Amex Offers, Chase Offers, and Citi Merchant Offers.

Redeeming With Rove Miles

Once you have some Rove Miles in your account from shopping or booking flights and hotel stays, it’s time to redeem your miles.

Below, we’ll take a look at how you can redeem Rove Miles.

Redeem Rove Miles for Flights

Rove Miles offers 2 ways to redeem your miles: direct booking antransfer booking. Both options offer plenty of value. Direct booking is for travelers who want a hassle-free booking experience, while transfer booking is designed for savvy travelers who are familiar with points and miles programs.

Direct booking is a flight booked and ticketed by Rove and priced dynamically, usually at a rate of 1.3 to 1.5 cents per mile redemption. Rove will also occasionally run transfer bonuses on direct bookings.

With direct booking, you’ll book and manage your reservation directly on the Rove platform. You can book instantly using your Rove Miles. Additionally, you’ll receive a confirmation code immediately — no need to contact the airline for it — and you’ll also be able to check in directly with the airline.

Transfer booking is a flight sourced from one of Rove’s partners. With this option, Rove searches loyalty programs directly in its portal to optimize your miles for you, allowing you to see the redemption rate and cost for your respective program alongside Rove’s dynamic pricing.

After you select a transfer booking, you will be taken to the transfer page. Transfers are almost always instant, and you will be redirected to the partner program to complete your booking.

Redeem Rove Miles for Hotels

Rove Miles offers you the option to redeem miles directly at over 200,000 hotels worldwide. You can redeem for an average redemption value of between 1.5 and 2.2 cents per mile.

Rove also partners with ALL – Accor Live Limitless. Accor has well over 5,600 hotels worldwide, including some of the most luxe options in the world. These include brands such as Banyan Tree and Fairmont, as well as Ennismore brands like Mondrian and SLS.

What Else To Know

Do Rove Miles Expire?

As long as your account is active, your Rove Miles will never expire.

How Much Are Rove Miles Worth?

Rove Miles assigns valuations based on how its miles are being used. Rove says 100,000 miles are worth 1.8 cents each for hotels, 2.2 cents each for economy flights, and 6 cents each for business class flights. Our own points and miles valuations at Upgraded Points put Rove Miles at 1.5 each. That means we consider 50,000 and 100,000 Rove Miles to be worth $750 and $1,500, respectively.

Generally, you’ll get less value when redeeming Rove Miles for things such as cash-back or gift cards.

To get the most value out of your Rove Miles, we recommend transferring miles to Rove’s airline and hotel partners to book business and first class flights, or stays at luxury hotels.

Comparing Rove Miles to Other Transferable Points Programs

Now that you’re familiar with Rove Miles, you’re probably curious about how it compares to the alternatives out there.

Of the major transferable rewards programs, Rove Miles is most similar to Citi ThankYou Rewards and Marriott Bonvoy.

Bottom Line:

Rove Miles is notable in that it is the only major rewards program to have Air India Maharaja Club and Vietnam Airlines Lotusmiles as transfer partners.

Final Thoughts

Rove Miles is the newest loyalty program on the block. It came out of the gate swinging with 12 exciting transfer partners (plus more to come) and new ways to earn and redeem miles for travel.
