Earning Capital One Miles

Capital One has cards that earn miles and cards that earn cash rewards. At Upgraded Points we love travel and focus on earning miles

Recommended Miles-Earning Capital One Cards (Personal)

Capital One® Venture® Rewards Credit Card - The big brother of the VentureOne and it's packed with a lot more benefits and perks. Earn a 50,000 mile sign up bonus (worth $500) once you spend $3,000 on purchases within 3 months from account opening — and 10X miles per $1 spent across thousands of hotels. We recommend this as a no-brainer card if you even semi regularly stay at hotels.

Other Ways To Use Your Points

Other Capital One options like redeeming miles for cash statement credits or gift cards are not as good a value as travel. You’ll only get 0.5 cents/mile, or even less for merchandise.

Combining Capital One Miles From Different Accounts

Combining Capital One miles from your different Capital One accounts is a simple process. The key is you need to have a miles-earning Capital One card like Venture Rewards and Spark Miles.

Cards like Savour and Spark Cash do not earn miles and so cannot be combined.

Redeeming Capital One Miles

With all these new airline transfer partners, there are great new opportunities to redeem Capital One miles.
