American Airlines AAdvantage Frequent Flyer Program

The AAdvantage Executive World Elite card may be a great choice for the frequent traveler who wants the benefit of travel perks and lounge access.

The welcome offer bonus fluctuates and is awarded after you reach the designated spending threshold within the first 3 months after card approval. You earn 10x miles on AAdvantage Hotels and AAdvantage Cars, 4x miles on American Airlines, and 1x miles on all other purchases.

Travel perks include:

  • A free checked bag for you and up to 8 travel companions on domestic itineraries
  • Priority check-in, boarding, and screening for the primary cardholder
  • $120 Global Entry or TSA PreCheck application fee credit every 4 years

The card comes with a hefty $595 annual fee, but the welcome bonus and Admirals Club membership more than offset this expense. How do I cancel my American Airlines credit card?

If you need to cancel your American Airlines credit card, you can simply call the phone number on the back of the credit card. You can also sign in to your online credit card account and cancel via a secure message.
