The Chase Sapphire Reserve Business card offers slightly more earning opportunities. The card earns a fantastic 4x points on flights and hotels booked directly, which presents a tremendous earning potential.

The Capital One Venture X Business card offers a solid 10x miles on rental cars and hotels, as well as 5x miles on flights and vacation rentals. However, bookings must be made through Capital One Business Travel. This is limiting, as many would prefer to book directly with an airline or hotel rather than through a provider’s travel portal.

However, the Capital One Venture X Business card is more valuable for non-bonus spending as it earns an unlimited 2x miles per on all purchases.

Both cards offer Priority Pass Select membership, which provides access to more than 1,300 lounges worldwide. The Chase Sapphire Reserve Business card also has access to Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club locations, while the Capital One Venture X Business card also has access to Capital One Lounges.

Although Capital One’s lounge network is slightly smaller than Chase’s, the airports you fly from determine which perk is more valuable.

Hot Tip:

Chase Sapphire Reserve Business cardholders can bring 2 guests into Sapphire Lounges for no additional cost with their cards. Starting February 1, 2026, Capital One Venture X Business cardholders must spend $75,000 in a calendar year to bring guests to Capital One Lounges.

Hotel Elite Status

The Capital One Venture X Business card does not provide any hotel elite status, but the Chase Sapphire Reserve Business card provides cardholders with complimentary IHG One Rewards Platinum Elite status (through December 31, 2027).
