Mesa has made waves in the world of credit card rewards by offering the first credit card that allows you to earn rewards on mortgage payments. Transferring points to travel partners is one of the best ways to get maximum value from your rewards, and Mesa Points can be transferred to a suite of airline and hotel transfer partners, including some unique programs.

This guide will teach you everything you need to know about the Mesa transfer partners, including your partner options and how to earn more points.

Mesa Points Airline and Hotel Transfer Partners

Mesa offers 10 airline and hotel transfer partners. Nearly all partners transfer at a 1:1 rate, except the ALL program.

There aren’t nearly as many transfer partners as competing programs like Amex Membership Rewards, Bilt Rewards, Capital One Miles, Chase Ultimate Rewards, and Citi ThankYou Rewards, but none of those programs currently allow you to earn rewards on your mortgage payments.

Best Ways To Redeem Your Mesa Point Rewards

By far, the best way to redeem your Mesa Points is by taking advantage of the program’s transfer partners. Many of these partners allow you to redeem your points for luxurious travel experiences for a fraction of the cash price you would have paid otherwise.

For instance, you could transfer your points to Cathay Pacific and book a one-way ticket to Hong Kong in Cathay Pacific first class for 125,000 points, fly between the U.S. and Finland in Finnair business class for 62,500 points one-way, or even use the Air Canada Aeroplan program to book short-haul flights within the U.S. with United Airlines from 6,000 points one-way.

There is no shortage of great ways to use your Mesa Points, thanks to its list of transfer partners.

Other Ways To Redeem Your Mesa Points

Using transfer partners isn’t your only option for your Mesa Points, though. You can also redeem them for gift cards with select merchants, as a statement credit toward your mortgage, and to cover loan closing costs.

That said, you’ll almost always get the best value, from a cents per point perspective, by redeeming with transfers to Mesa travel partners.

Final Thoughts

It’s always been a bummer for homeowners to not earn rewards on one of their largest monthly expenses. Thanks to Mesa, they can do it with no annual fee. In addition to these rewards, customers have access to some top-notch transfer partners.

While the Mesa program doesn’t offer as many partners as others, it has slowly expanded its offerings. Either way, being able to earn up to 100,000 transferable rewards points on your mortgage payments each year is a big win.
