Aeromexico is bolstering its presence in several major U.S. cities and adding a handful of new routes in time for winter.

Here’s what you need to know about these seasonal offerings.

Seasonal Routes Begin in December

Aeromexico is adding a whopping 8 new routes to its U.S. schedule, as first reported by Ishrion Aviation on X. The routes will include service from Guadalajara, a city in western Mexico, and Monterrey, one of Mexico’s major financial hubs.

Here’s a look at the new, upcoming routes:

Flights on the new routes will begin in mid-December, and you can already find these flights for sale directly with Aeromexico or when searching on Google Flights. Some routes, such as those to New York (JFK) and Las Vegas (LAS), will operate for as little as one month, while others will run through March and April of 2025. Aeromexico will fly a mix of Boeing 737 and 737 MAX 8 jets on the routes.

Aeromexico, Mexico’s flag carrier, already operates nonstop flights from the above cities to its Mexico City (MEX) hub. Its SkyTeam partner, Delta Air Lines, also serves some of these routes.

Bottom Line:

This news comes amid huge growth from Aeromexico. Last month, we reported that the airline would begin daily service between Miami (MIA) and Cancun (CUN) in December. While this is a crowded market — American, JetBlue, and Spirit already serve the route — it makes sense that Mexico’s national airline would offer a flight to one of its most bustling destinations.

Flying Aeromexico From the U.S.

The new routes appear to be loaded into Google Flights and are now bookable through that platform or directly with Aeromexico. Prices are pretty standard, with economy tickets starting around $400 round-trip.

If you prefer using points or miles, you’re in luck. One of the easiest ways to book Aeromexico redemptions is using Delta SkyMiles. While Delta uses dynamic pricing — meaning award prices aren’t fixed — you can find some solid deals, especially later in the year.

For instance, a round-trip flight between Las Vegas and Guadalajara will cost you, depending on your dates, just 32,000 SkyMiles next January.

We like using Delta SkyMiles to book Aeromexico redemptions because it is easy to earn a ton of SkyMiles quickly. You can earn SkyMiles by opening Delta co-branded credit cards, transferring points from American Express or Marriott, or enrolling in SkyMiles Shopping.

Final Thoughts

This is exciting news from Aeromexico, which is launching several new routes weeks after it launched MIA-CUN service. Even better, flights on the new routes are affordable, whether you’re paying cash or using miles. These flights are operating seasonally this winter. If they’re successful, they could stick around.
