Allegiant Air has shared that it will add Atlantic City, New Jersey (ACY), to its route map and connect the coastal city with 4 destinations in Florida.

“We’re thrilled to bring our brand of low-cost, high-value travel to one of New Jersey’s most iconic destinations,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant’s chief commercial officer. “Connecting this vibrant community with several cities across Florida not only strengthens our leisure network, but opens up more affordable and convenient travel options for our customers in both regions.”

To celebrate, the low-cost carrier is offering great introductory rates on fares for a limited time.

Let’s take a look at the details.

Allegiant Connects Atlantic City With 4 Florida Cities

Allegiant Air is adding 4 nonstop routes between Atlantic City (ACY) and destinations across Florida, including Fort Lauderdale (FLL), St. Petersburg (PIE), Orlando Sanford (SFB), and Punta Gorda (PGD).

This news comes just a day after the carrier announced another group of new routes — and added a new city to its route map.

The new routes from Atlantic City will begin in late 2025 and early 2026, and note that most operate just 2 times per week, which is common for Allegiant service. The schedule will operate as follows:

Atlantic City is an all-new destination for Allegiant. It’s an interesting addition because the only other carrier that serves the airport with regularly scheduled flights is Spirit Airlines (American Airlines technically services the airport with its Landline bus service to Philadelphia). And Spirit recently shared that it’s experiencing a severe cash crunch and may run out of it within the year. Perhaps Allegiant smells blood in the water and wants to begin chipping away at Spirit’s market share at the airport.

Hot Tip:

Allegiant is a low-cost airline, so though the ticket itself may be inexpensive, be prepared to pay for extras, including baggage, seat selection, and more.

Final Thoughts

Allegiant’s heading to a new destination: Atlantic City. Starting in December and continuing into early 2026, the low-cost carrier will connect the coastal New Jersey hotspot with 4 popular destinations in Florida.
