Bilt Rewards has been working hard to add valuable airline and hotel programs to its roster of transfer partners.

Today, it’s added another one — Qatar Airways Privilege Club — to the ever-growing list. Let’s take a look at the details.

Qatar Airways Is Bilt’s Newest Transfer Partner

Qatar Airways Privilege Club has become Bilt Rewards’ 16th airline transfer partner, giving members even more ways to use points they earn on their housing costs and everyday spending.

“By bringing Qatar Airways’ award-winning service into our rewards ecosystem, we’re not just adding another partner — we’re fundamentally expanding how our members can experience the
world through their everyday housing expenses,” said Bilt Founder and CEO Ankur Jain.

Transfers from Bilt Rewards to Qatar’s Privilege Club are live now and should occur “near instantly,” according to a press release from Bilt. Points will transfer at a 1:1 ratio.

How To Maximize Qatar Airways Avios

Qatar Airways Privilege Club is largely underrated in the points and miles community. The airline is part of the Oneworld alliance, allowing for many redemption opportunities.

The program uses Avios as its currency, which is also used by other airlines such as Aer Lingus, Iberia, and British Airways. Avios can be transferred between all programs that use the currency.

While all the airlines use the same Avios currency, each program uses a different award chart. This allows for varied redemption options, as you can book award flights with whichever program has the cheapest redemption rates.

One way to maximize Qatar Avios involves its distance-based award chart for flights to the Caribbean. Flights under 1,151 miles can be booked for 9,000 Avios in economy. This is especially great because Caribbean flights tend to be very expensive.

From American’s hub in Miami (MIA), you could fly nonstop to some Caribbean and Mexican destinations, including:

  • Cancun (CUN), Mexico
  • Providenciales (PLS), Turks and Caicos
  • Punta Cana (PUJ), Dominican Republic
  • San Juan (SJU), Puerto Rico
  • Santo Domingo (SDQ), Dominican Republic

Note, too, that domestic flights within the U.S. under 1,151 miles also cost 9,000 Avios each way.

And, of course, you can use Avios to book Qatar Airways’ famous Qsuite business class.
