In addition to the refresh of the personal version of the Chase Sapphire Reserve®, Chase is also announcing the long-awaited Sapphire Reserve for Business℠ Card.

While Chase has offered the Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card and the Ink Business Premier® Credit Card for some time now, this represents the card issuer’s first foray into the ultra-premium business card market to compete with similar offerings from American Express and Capital One — and Chase is doing so in a big way.

In addition to the name, many other aspects of this small-business-focused card are similar to the personal version. However, there are some very key differences, as well. Here’s a full breakdown with everything you need to know about the new card.

Chase Sapphire Reserve Business Card Earning Categories

For starters, here is a look at how you’ll earn points with the Chase Sapphire Reserve Business card:

  • 8x points on Chase Travel purchases
  • 5x points on eligible Lyft rides
  • 4x points on flights and hotels booked directly with the airline or hotel
  • 3x points on advertising purchases made with social media sites and search engines
  • 1x points on all other purchases

Business owners who travel often should be excited by the ability to earn 4x points on direct flight and hotel bookings, as well as 8x points on any eligible travel purchase made through the Chase Travel portal.

Interestingly, the 3x points on advertising purchases aren’t capped, which will surely make this card an immediate hit for business owners who have significant ad spend. This is especially true when you consider that the 2 cards that currently lead this category are the American Express® Business Gold Card and the Ink Business Preferred card, which offer 4x and 3x, respectively, but only on up to $150,000 in annual ad spend, then 1x points thereafter.

Chase Sapphire Reserve Business Card Annual Credits

Similar to the personal version of the card, the Chase Sapphire Reserve Business card has a whopper of an annual fee at $795, but you’ll be able to add employee cards for no additional fee. Despite that, the card comes with an extensive collection of credits to help you offset that fee, including:

  • $300 annual travel credit that can be applied toward purchases of flights, hotels, car rentals, cruises, and more
  • $500 annual credit for stays with The Edit by Chase Travel, delivered in 2 separate $250 biannual credits from January through June and again from July through December for prepaid bookings of at least 2 nights (eligible stays do not earn points)
  • $400 annual ZipRecruiter credit, delivered in 2 separate $200 biannual credits
  • $200 annual Google Workspace credit
  • $100 Giftcards.com credit, delivered in 2 separate $50 biannual credits
  • $300 annually in monthly DoorDash promos and a complimentary DashPass membership worth $120 annually. Get access to up to $25 in monthly promos, which includes a $5 restaurant
promo and two $10 promos to spend on groceries, beauty, electronics, and more. Credits do not carry over to the next month if they go unused.
  • $120 in annual Lyft in-app credits, available as up to $10 monthly
  • $120 Global Entry, TSA Precheck, or Nexus credit available every four years

While you might find some credits more useful than others, if you’re a business owner who travels often and uses many of these platforms or services anyway, you might be able to offset a large portion of the annual fee from these credits alone. Just remember that these are “up to” amounts, and the actual amount of statement credits you’ll receive will be based on your spending with the associated merchants.

Chase Sapphire Reserve Business Card Benefits

In addition to the rewards you’ll earn and the annual credits you’ll receive with the Chase Sapphire Reserve Business card, you’ll also enjoy these perks by being a cardmember:

New Credits and Perks You Can Unlock With Annual Spend

Cardholders who spend $120,000 on purchases in a calendar year can unlock these additional benefits as well:

  • IHG One Rewards Diamond Elite Status
  • Southwest Airlines A-List Status
  • $500 Southwest Airlines credit toward bookings made through Chase Travel
  • $500 Shops at Chase credit (an online shopping experience designed exclusively for cardmembers)

Getting an additional $1,000 in credits, plus Southwest A-List status and top-tier IHG Diamond Elite status is nice, but those benefits likely aren’t worth enough to entice cardholders to spend $120,000 on the card each year just because of the extra perks.

That said, if you’re a business owner who would spend that amount of the card anyway, say through ad spend on which you’ll earn 3x points, then this is a perfect way for you to unlock even more value from business expenses you were going to make on the card regardless.

New Points Boost Feature

Another new feature of the Chase Sapphire Reserve Business card that is being rolled out across many of the Ultimate Rewards earning cards in the Chase portfolio, including the personal Chase Sapphire Reserve card and Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card, is Points Boost.

With Points Boost, your points will be worth up to 2x, or 2 cents per point, on thousands of top hotels and flights with select airlines and hotels through Chase Travel. For Chase Travel portal purchases not eligible for Points Boost Offers, points can be redeemed at a rate of 1 cent apiece toward travel.

Hot Tip:

At the moment, it seems that Points Boost redemptions via Chase Travel will be limited to luxury hotels that are eligible for The Edit benefits from Chase, along with premium cabin tickets on select, rotating airlines. For more details, review our full piece breaking down the new Points Boost redemption option.

Design of the new Chase Sapphire Reserve Business Card

For some, the design of a card adds to its appeal, and so the Chase Sapphire Reserve Business card will be made of a metal veneer that weighs 19.6 grams. It includes engraved logos, textured patterns, and design inspiration influenced by pinstripe patterns and fluid textiles.

What About the Welcome Bonus Offer?

Unfortunately, Chase has not released details on the card’s welcome bonus offer yet. The card officially launches on June 23, 2025, and we will provide all of the details as soon as they’re available.

Final Thoughts

There’s been speculation about an ultra-premium Chase business credit card for a long time. Now, the small-business version of the Chase Sapphire Reserve card is finally here.

With an annual fee of $795, it is now the most expensive business rewards credit card on the market, but it also comes with a laundry list of benefits, perks, and credits to help offset that annual fee.

While the card won’t be a perfect fit for every business owner, it will be a homerun for others, thanks to its combination of rewards earning, lounge access, and annual credits toward travel and everyday business expenses.
