New Choice Privileges Card Welcome Offer

The Choice Privileges card comes with a $0 annual fee and typically offers 40,000 bonus points to new applicants. Right now, though, new applicants can earn 60,000 bonus points after spending $1,000 on purchases within the first 3 months from account opening.

We value Choice Privileges points at 0.6 cents each, making this bonus worth $360 — a 36% return on the spending required to earn the welcome offer.

The offer is available here on Choice’s website.

Choice Privileges Card Features and Benefits

The Choice Privileges card offers several quality benefits that stick around long after you’ve redeemed the points from the welcome bonus. These include:

  • Automatic Gold Elite status with Choice Privileges
  • 5x points on spending at Choice Hotels
  • 3x points at gas stations, grocery stores, home improvement stores, and phone plan services
  • 1x point on other purchases
  • Cellular telephone protection of up to $800, subject to a $25 deductible (and requires paying your phone bill with this card)
  • World Elite Mastercard benefits
  • No foreign transaction fees

Those looking for additional perks and earning Choice Privileges points at a higher rate may like the Choice Privileges® Select Mastercard® better. It has a $95 annual fee but offers annual bonus points on your cardholder anniversary, Platinum Elite status with Choice Privileges, and higher earning rates on spending. Cardholders can also earn a statement credit of up to $100 toward their Global Entry or TSA PreCheck application fee. This is available once every 4 years.

Final Thoughts

We don’t expect this elevated offer to last forever, but there is no known end date at this time.

Until the offer disappears, you can earn 60,000 bonus points with the Choice Privileges card as a new applicant. That’s 50% higher than the card’s typical welcome offer of 40,000 points, and there’s still no annual fee on the card.
