Want an easy way to earn some miles? Not a Delta SkyMiles member? Well, you’re in luck because the program is running a new promotion just for new members.
Here’s what you need to know!
Get 2,000 Bonus Miles for Signing Up for Delta SkyMiles
Delta SkyMiles is running a promotion where new SkyMiles members can get 2,000 bonus miles for signing up and flying within 60 days of joining with a new or existing booking.
Keep in mind that only flights operated by Delta or Delta Connection and marketed by Delta will be eligible to earn the miles. This offer applies to new accounts only, so you won’t qualify if you’re already a SkyMiles member.
This promotion expires on April 30, 2022, so make sure you register now to get your SkyMiles.
While that may not seem like a lot, Delta frequently runs SkyMiles Flash Deals, where award tickets can be as low as 9,000 miles round-trip on some short-haul routes.
For instance, flights from New York to several destinations in Florida, including Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and Orlando (MCO), are just 9,000 miles round-trip in basic economy.
One-way tickets start at 4,500 SkyMiles, so this haul would get you nearly halfway to a one-way award ticket.
If you’ve been putting off signing up for the Delta Air Lines SkyMiles program, now is a perfect time to do so. Not only do you get a free membership, but you can score some SkyMiles solely by taking 1 flight. You can find some bargain award flights for under 5,000 miles each way, so signing up is pretty much a no-brainer. Just make sure to register by April 30!
