The co-branded business IHG card, the IHG One Rewards Premier Business Credit Card, has an increased welcome bonus offer, though you’ll need to do quite a bit of spending to accrue all your points.

Here’s a look at the details of the welcome offer and the card’s other benefits.

IHG Premier Business Card Welcome Bonus Offer

With the new offer on the IHG Premier Business card, you can earn 140,000 bonus points after spending $4,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening. Then, you can earn an additional 35,000 bonus points after spending a total of $7,000 on the card in the first 6 months.

Remember that this offer is set to expire on Thursday, May 16th, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. ET.

Since we value IHG One Rewards points at 0.5 cents apiece, this bonus is worth roughly $875, though if you play your cards right, you can get much more value than that.

Hot Tip:

Check out our guide on the best ways to redeem IHG One Rewards points for examples of how you can get the most value out of your points.

IHG Premier Business Card Earning Rates

You’ll earn IHG One Rewards points with the IHG Premier Business card according to the following structure:

  • Up to 26x points at IHG Hotels and Resorts
  • 5x points on travel and hotels, gas stations, social media, search engine advertising, and office supply stores
  • 3x points on all other purchases

IHG Premier Business Card Benefits

Beyond the ability to earn more points on your purchases, here are the other benefits you’ll receive with the IHG Premier Business card:

While the IHG Premier Business card does have a $99 annual fee, it provides quite a lot of value for what you pay. For example, the free night certificate can get you a stay worth hundreds of dollars all on its own.

The card also provides automatic IHG Platinum Elite status, which offers benefits like extended checkout, priority check-in, and complimentary room upgrades.

Final Thoughts

The IHG Premier Business card is out with a new, elevated welcome offer granting cardholders the ability to earn up to 175,000 points. That’s worth $875, but can certainly be worth more with the right redemptions. Aside from this, the excellent benefits the card provides for its low annual fee make this a compelling offer.

If you are interested in adding the IHG Premier Business card to your wallet, make sure you do so before the offer expires on Thursday, May 16th, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. ET.
