JetBlue has a current status match that can provide a great transition from your current airline loyalty. Now, that offer includes additional airlines. When the offer first launched, it only included Alaska, American, Delta, or United loyalists. Now, you also can match from Frontier, Southwest, and Spirit.

However, JetBlue’s Mosaic status match doesn’t quite line up with other status match schemes in terms of the status you’ll receive. Moreover, JetBlue hasn’t specified a closing date for applications, but it has said that the offer is for a limited time and can be pulled at any given time, so you’ll have to act fast.

JetBlue’s Mosaic Status Match

Let’s start with the good news: matching your status to JetBlue Mosaic is easy.

All you need to do is take a screenshot of your current status profile and a screenshot of your most recent boarding pass using said status.

Once you’ve done that, you’ll need to set up a TrueBlue account — if you haven’t already — then you’re all set to apply through this link.

Your shiny new status will be valid for 3 months, with the option to extend through the end of the following calendar year by hitting the following criteria:

  • 10 tiles to keep Mosaic 1
  • 25 tiles to keep Mosaic 2
  • 40 tiles to earn Mosaic 3
Hot Tip:

Wondering how to earn JetBlue Mosaic elite status? The airline rewards members with 1 tile for every $100 spent on JetBlue flights (including lots of extras and fees), JetBlue Vacations packages, and Paisly by JetBlue (car rentals, accommodation, and more). Additionally, 1 tile can be earned for every $1,000 spent on JetBlue credit cards.

Match to Mosaic Level 1

Curiously, if you’re a holder of the below mid-tier statuses, you’ll only get JetBlue’s lowest level of status, Mosaic 1:

  • Alaska Airlines MVP or MVP Gold
  • American Airlines Gold or Platinum
  • Delta Air Lines Silver or Gold
  • Frontier Airlines Elite Gold, Elite Platinum, or Elite Diamond
  • Southwest Airlines A-List or A-List Preferred
  • Spirit Airlines Gold
  • United Airlines Premium Silver or Premier Gold

The perks that come with Mosaic 1 are a mix between entry- and mid-level status that you might be used to, such as:

  • Priority boarding
  • Priority security (full list of participating airports)
  • Dedicated check in
  • First 2 checked bags free

Mosaic 1 holders will also get to enjoy free beer, wine, or liquor (up to 3 per flight), a dedicated 24/7 Mosaic phone line, and and the ability to upgrade to an Even More Space seat for free at check in.

JetBlue has also preselected Mint Suite Priority as the “Perks You Pick” for status matched Mosaic 1 members.

Match to Mosaic 2

Status holders of higher tiers — such as Alaska’s MVP Gold 75K or 100K; American’s Executive Platinum, Platinum Pro, or ConciergeKey; Delta Platinum, Diamond, or Delta 360; or United’s Premier Platinum, Premier 1K, or Global Services — will be matched with JetBlue’s Mosaic 2.

Forget lounge access (JetBlue doesn’t have lounges, not even for business class passengers), automatic waitlisted upgrades, or other perks you’d expect with top level status. The only additional benefit of Mosaic 2 is that you’ll be able to upgrade to an Even More Space seat at booking, rather than waiting until check in.

The “Perks You Pick” that JetBlue has assigned for its matched Mosaic 2 members are Mint Suite Priority and Pet Waiver Fee.

Is It Worth Matching to JetBlue Mosaic 1 or 2?

You’ve got absolutely nothing to lose by matching your current status with JetBlue.

Don’t be put off if you’re not immediately impressed with the benefits when comparing them to what you’re used to — think lounge access and upgrades.

It should take just a few minutes to apply, and you’ll get some free perks and benefits when flying JetBlue that you wouldn’t have had otherwise.

Who knows, you might even get so enchanted by the JetBlue experience that you fly the more, earning more tiles and climbing your way to Mosaic 3 and 4 before you know it.

Hot Tip:

A reason to aim for Mosaic 3 is to earn a Move to Mint certificate, which you can use to upgrade your seat and lay flat, including on JetBlue’s transatlantic flights from Boston (BOS) and New York to Europe.

Still not sure? Here’s everything you need to know about JetBlue slite status.

Final Thoughts

Status matches are a fun way of getting to experience what it’s like flying as a status holder for an airline that you might not even have ever flown before. Or maybe you think another airline looks nice and are considering switching your loyalty.

Now, this offer includes elite flyers from additional airlines, meaning even more people can participate.
