Wyndham has announced that its newest Alltra all-inclusive resort in the Dominican Republic has officially opened for guests — a first for the brand.

Wyndham Alltra Samaná Resort Has Opened

The family-friendly Wyndham Alltra Samaná all-inclusive resort has 404 guest rooms, suites, and bungalows with private balconies and garden and ocean views. There are 4 pools on the resort grounds, and guests will be able to access the beautiful Playa Madama beach.

On site, there are nearly a dozen restaurants and lounges and a slew of excursions to choose from, including whale watching, horseback riding, waterfall hikes, and more.

There are just a handful of all-inclusive options in Samaná, including several Bahia Principe resorts. The town is located in the northeastern part of the Dominican Republic, a roughly 2-hour drive from Santo Domingo Las Américas International Airport (SDQ).

How To Book

Wyndham Alltra is the chain’s all-inclusive option under the Lifestyle brand. You’ll find other Alltra resorts in Mexico, such as Cancun, Playa del Carmen, and Riviera Nayarit.

Fortunately, Wyndham Rewards has perhaps one of the most straightforward award charts of all major hotel chains, as awards start at 7,500, 15,000, or 30,000 points per night for all hotels.

This hotel can be booked for just 30,000 points per night, which is a steal for an all-inclusive resort property.

While earning Wyndham Rewards points might not be the easiest, you have several options from staying at Wyndham-branded hotels, earning welcome bonuses and points through spending on Barclays co-branded Wyndham Rewards credit cards, and transferring rewards from Citi ThankYou Rewards or Capital One Miles.

Wyndham loyalists now have another all-inclusive resort option to visit with the opening of this new property. Furthermore, the Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana is set to open later this year, marking its second Dominican Republic property.
