Wyndham Rewards is one of several hotel rewards programs that has a transfer partnership with United MileagePlus. This means that Wyndham Rewards members can convert their hotel points into airline miles in just a few clicks.

And right now, for a limited time, you can transfer Wyndham Rewards points to United MileagePlus at double the normal rate. Let’s take a look at the details and determine whether it’s a good deal for you.

Wyndham to United Transfer Bonus

Under normal circumstances, Wyndham Rewards points can be transferred to United MileagePlus at a ratio of 5:1. However, you have to transfer a minimum of 6,000 points, which would yield 1,200 MileagePlus miles.

However, between now and November 2, 2025, you can transfer your Wyndham Rewards points to United and get double the miles when compared to the standard rate — meaning you’ll get 2,400 miles for the minimum transfer of 6,000 hotel points.

There are a few things to be aware of before you decide to transfer your points:

  • You can only transfer 6,000, 16,000, or 30,000 Wyndham Rewards points. No other increments are allowed.
  • Transferring 6,000 points will yield 2,400 miles; 16,000 points will yield 6,400 miles; and 30,000 points will yield 12,000 miles.
  • Transfer requests cannot be reversed once they’ve been requested.
  • You can transfer points at this elevated ratio until 11:59 p.m. ET on November 2, 2025.
  • You must be a member of Wyndham Rewards and United MileagePlus to complete any transfers between the 2 programs.

If you’re interested in this promotion, you can begin a point transfer at this page.

Hot Tip:

Is It Worth It?

Generally, you’re better off redeeming your Wyndham Rewards points for hotel stays within the program, rather than transferring them out to an airline.

However, if you have a United MileagePlus redemption you’ve been eyeing but are short on miles and have a surplus of points in your Wyndham account, it could make sense to transfer under this promotion. You’ll get double the number of United miles as you normally would, getting you to your desired balance much more quickly.

That said, we value Wyndham points at 0.9 cents apiece and MileagePlus miles at 1.2 cents each. Turning 6,000 hotel points (worth $54) into 2,400 airline miles (worth $28.80) doesn’t make sense in most situations.

Final Thoughts

This is an interesting opportunity for Wyndham Rewards members who want to transfer their points to United MileagePlus. Through November 2, 2025, you can get double the number of United miles when you transfer Wyndham points.

Typically, we wouldn’t recommend doing so, but if you’re close to a redemption you want to make with United and simply need to top up your account, this could be a great way to do so, especially if you’re sitting on plenty of Wyndham points. However, this offer won’t make sense for most people, so ensure you have a good redemption in mind before completing any transfers.
