Location: Terminal C, level 2, near gate 15
Hours: Daily from 6:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. (3-hour stay max)

Melbourne International Airport (MEL)

American Express Centurion Lounge Eligibility

Entry to any American Express Centurion Lounge is complimentary for cardholders of the Amex Platinum card, Amex Business Platinum card, and Centurion card. The cardholders may also bring up to 2 guests inside the lounge with them for no additional charge (unless specific lounge terms state otherwise).

Individuals must present a valid card and boarding pass with a reservation for same-day travel on any carrier.

Be aware that beginning in February 2023, those who hold the Amex Platinum card and the Business Platinum card will no longer receive complimentary access for their guests. The fee to enter will be $50 per adult or $30 per child between 2 and 17. You can reinstate complimentary guest access by spending $75,000 on your card in a given year.

Hot Tip: Amex Platinum cardholders have access to over 1,200 other lounges, including the Centurion Lounges.

    I managed to get into the Amex lounge at Melbourne Airport and I only held a standard (Nectar) Amex card, he pulled out a laminated card with all different cards on it, mine was not there so he swiped it and invited me and my plus one in, result
