Great Card If
You want to earn points for business purchases you already make.
You already fly JetBlue regularly.
You are looking for a card with a big welcome bonus.
Don’t Get If
You and your employees don’t fly frequently.
You don’t have a JetBlue hub near you.
The JetBlue Business Card — Is It Worth It?
Business owners who regularly fly with JetBlue will love the benefits that The JetBlue Business card offers.
In addition to earning 6x points on JetBlue purchases and 2x points at restaurants and office supply stores, you receive perks like Group A boarding, free checked bags for you and up to 3 eligible travel companions, and a 50% statement credit on eligible inflight purchases.
Plus, you receive 5,000 bonus points on your account anniversary each year, 10% of your redeemed points back, the ability to spend your way to JetBlue TrueBlue Mosaic status, and a $100 statement credit after you purchase a JetBlue Vacations package of $100 or more with your card.
Put simply, if you are a dedicated JetBlue flyer, then The JetBlue Business card is a must-have.
The JetBlue Business Card Top Benefits
While The JetBlue Business card does charge an annual fee, it also comes loaded with benefits that help offset it, including:
Priority Boarding: Get Group A boarding on JetBlue flights.
Free Checked Bags: Your first checked bag is free for you and up to 3 eligible travel companions.
Annual Bonus Points: Receive 5,000 bonus points each year on your account anniversary. We value these points at $65.
50% Rebate on Inflight Purchases: This applies to food, drinks, pillows, and any other items JetBlue sells on board.
10% Point Redemption Rebate: Get 10% of your redeemed points back. For instance, when you book an award ticket that costs 20,000 points, 2,000 points are credited back to your account.
$100 Statement Credit: Receive an annual $100 statement credit after you purchase a JetBlue Vacations package of $100 or more with your card.
No Foreign Transaction Fees: Use your card overseas without paying additional fees.
Qualify for Mosaic Status: Earn 1 Tile for every $1,000 spent on your card, which helps you qualify for JetBlue Mosaic status faster.
Best Ways To Earn and Redeem Your JetBlue TrueBlue Points
As mentioned, JetBlue is a fixed-value rewards program, with each redemption often offering somewhere between 1.3 and 1.5 cents per point for economy tickets on board JetBlue flights. Sadly, if you want to redeem your points to fly JetBlue Mint on a route where it is offered, you receive just 1.1 cents per point on these redemptions.
The good news, though, is that by holding The JetBlue Business card, you receive 10% of all of your redeemed points credit back to your JetBlue TrueBlue account. This effectively boosts the rate of your JetBlue redemptions to 1.22 cents per point on Mint tickets and 1.44 to 1.67 cents per point on economy tickets.
Of course, using The JetBlue Business card isn’t the only way for you to earn more JetBlue points. Other great options include the TrueBlue shopping portal, the TrueBlue dining portal, transferring points from transfer partners, and more.
