Victoria’s Secret Mastercard: Is It Worth It?

The Victoria’s Secret Mastercard is a store-branded card issued by Comenity Bank.

Several perks come standard with the Victoria’s Secret Mastercard. The program has tiered statuses directly related to cardholder spending, so the more you spend, the more benefits you earn.

The VS & PINK Rewards program is the loyalty program for Victoria’s Secret and PINK. If you shop at Victoria’s Secret often, you’re bound to reap benefits from the program. The 3 status tiers are Member, Silver, and Gold.

As a Victoria’s Secret Mastercard member, you’ll automatically receive Silver status.

As a Silver member (which usually requires $300 or more spent each program year), you’ll receive benefits including 10 points per $1 at Victoria’s Secret and PINK, 30 points per $1 on bras, a birthday and anniversary gift, and free shipping on orders of $50 or more.

There are also additional benefits when using your Victoria’s Secret Mastercard for purchases outside Victoria’s Secret or PINK. As a Silver member, you’ll earn 4x points on dining, travel, and streaming services, 2x on purchases outside Victoria’s Secret and PINK, a $30 reward when you spend $500 or more outside Victoria’s Secret and PINK within 90 days of account opening, and zero fraud liability on purchases.

Victoria’s Secret Mastercard Top Benefits and Perks

Triple Points on All Bra Purchases

Cardmembers earn triple points on all bra purchases, except at stores in airports or on cruise ships. This triple points bonus will be applied as 30 points per $1. If other non-bra items are purchased in the same transaction, they will still earn 10 points per $1.

VS & PINK Rewards Benefits

Cardmembers receive all the benefits of the VS & PINK Rewards program. These include 2x points days you can use twice a year, and free shipping on orders of $50 or more.

Birthday and Anniversary Gift

Cardmembers receive an annual birthday gift in the form of a $10 reward, provided they have made a purchase in the 12 months preceding their birthday, starting 2 months before their birthday. Additionally, cardmembers receive a 15% anniversary benefit.

$25 Off Your First Purchase

You’ll get $25 off your first purchase, though a minimum spend is required.

Best Ways To Earn and Redeem Your VS & PINK Rewards

Cardholders earn 10 points per $1 at Victoria’s Secret and PINK and 30 points per $1 on bras. Outside of Victoria’s Secret purchases, dining, travel, and streaming services earn 4 points per $1 spent, while all other purchases (excluding Victoria’s Secret purchases) earn 2 points per $1 spent.

Points can be redeemed for a $10 reward for every 2,000 points.

Alternative Cards to the Victoria’s Secret Mastercard

Chase Freedom Unlimited®

The Victoria’s Secret Mastercard is an advantageous card if you’re happy to use those rewards exclusively at Victoria’s Secret. If you want to earn cash-back instead and have the flexibility to use that cash anywhere, consider adding the Freedom Unlimited card to your wallet for purchases at Victoria’s Secret and other stores.

As a $0-annual-fee card, the Freedom Unlimited card is one of the best cash-back cards on the market. You’ll earn 5% back on Chase Travel, 3% back on dining at restaurants and drugstore purchases, and 1.5% back on all other purchases.

Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card

If you’re a traveler (or looking to travel more), consider the Chase Sapphire Preferred card, an excellent travel rewards card.

With this card, you’ll earn 5x on Chase Travel, 3x on dining, select streaming services and online groceries, 2x on all other travel purchases, and 1x on all other purchases — which includes Victoria’s Secret stores.

Although it has a $95 annual fee, its benefits are sufficient to fully offset the cost. Plus, you’ll earn Chase Ultimate Rewards points when you spend on the card, and they’re very valuable.
