Bilt is still the new kid on the block when it comes to transferable reward currencies, but it’s come out swinging.
Aimed primarily at renters, the Bilt Rewards program allows you to earn Bilt Rewards points on rent payments made with its credit card without charging you any additional fees. Spending on the card results in decent earnings and the Bilt Rewards program has a variety of partners to whom you can transfer the points you earn.
Now, Bilt Rewards has come out with a new promotion that’ll reward you for linking your loyalty account — let’s take a look!
Offer Details
Bilt Rewards will generally reward you with 100 free points when you link accounts with a transfer partner. But, for a limited time, it’s bumped up the reward for linking with World of Hyatt to 500 points.
Here are some more details of the promo:
- Valid from now through May 27, 2022
- Must link your Bilt Rewards account to your World of Hyatt account
- You’ll receive your points almost instantly
Something to keep in mind: although Bilt Rewards points transfer at a 1:1 ratio to all of its partners, you’ll need at least 2,000 points in your account to be eligible to transfer.
There are a handful of other transfer partners available, all of which will give you 100 points for linking to your Bilt Rewards account. This means that if you went through and linked every individual account at this time, you’d end up with a total of 1,500 free points — nearly enough to hit your transfer minimum.
Bilt Rewards Transfer Partners
For such a new program, Bilt Rewards has managed to gather a respectable variety of transfer partners:
As you can see, there’s representation in this list from each of the 3 major airline alliances: Oneworld, SkyTeam, and Star Alliance. This means you could feasibly transfer your points to a program that will enable you to fly anywhere in the world.
Bilt Rewards is also 1 of only 2 transferable currencies to partner with American (the other being Marriott Bonvoy).
Hot Tip: Read up on everything you need to know about Bilt Rewards’ transfer partners and how to use them.
Bilt World Elite Mastercard® Credit Card
Even if you’re not a renter, it’s possible to earn Bilt Rewards points by grabbing hold of the Bilt card. This no-fee credit card offers a decent return on spend, though you’ll need to make a minimum amount of transactions each month in order to qualify.
Here’s the card’s earning structure:
- 3x points per $1 spent on dining
- 2x points per $1 spent on travel
- 1x points per $1 spent on rent payments (up to 50,000 points each calendar year)
- 1x points per $1 spent on all other purchases
Get 15% Off Hyatt Stays
In addition to the free bonus points, you can also receive up to 15% off paid stays with Hyatt. If you book between now and August 15, 2022, for stays through November 22, 2022, use the code BILT4YOU to receive up to 15% off standard rates.
Note that you don’t need to be a Bilt Rewards member to take advantage of this discount, but we recommend joining the program anyway, especially in light of its offer of free points.
Final Thoughts
This promotion is a no-brainer — with a handful of excellent transfer partners and the ability to earn 500 free points, why wouldn’t you want to link your accounts?
Signing up for the program is quick and easy — just be sure to link your World of Hyatt account by May 27, 2022, in order to receive the free bonus points!
