Update:The offer mentioned below has expired and is no longer available.

Capital One has just launched the biggest welcome offer we’ve ever seen offered from any card issuer, though it’s paired with an equally colossal spending requirement.

Eligible new applicants of the Capital One Venture X Business Card can now score up to 400,000 bonus miles. This welcome offer is split into 2 parts, as cardholders can earn 200,000 miles after spending $30,000 in the first 3 months and an additional 200,000 miles when spending a total of $150,000 in the first 6 months.

As Capital One’s most premium business card, this introductory bonus offer is clearly targeted at those who can spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on business expenses every year — if not more. If you’re in that demographic, this might be the best business credit card to pick up right now.

Earn up to 400K Miles With the Capital One Venture X Business Card

Built on the framework of the popular Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card (the consumer card), Capital One launched the business version of the card in fall 2023. While the Capital One Venture X Business card comes with similar perks, it’s specifically designed with business owners in mind.

This new welcome offer isn’t just the best-ever for this card. It’s the most generous for any personal or business credit card we have ever seen from any issuer:

  • Earn up to 400,000 bonus miles: 200,000 miles when spending $30,000 in the first 3 months and an additional 200,000 miles when spending a total of $150,000 in the first 6 months.

The initial spending requirement of the welcome offer, $30,000 in the first 3 months, is a tall order. Spending an additional $150,000 within the first 6 months is definitely next level. However, for those who can make the Capital One Venture X Business card work for their business, the ability to earn up to 400,000 bonus miles is simply unheard of.

Hot Tip:

The Capital One Venture X Business card also offers 2x miles on eligible purchases (outside of Capital One Business Travel purchases). What does that mean? From $150,000 in spending within 6 months, it’s possible to earn 300,000 miles from the 2x miles earning rate alone. Coupled with the bonus offer of up to 400,000 miles, business owners who can maximize this welcome offer have the potential to score up to 700,000 bonus miles.

How To Redeem 400K Capital One Miles

What exactly can you do with 400,000 Capital One miles?

Capital One miles are worth 1.8 cents apiece for travel redemptions, according to our latest points and miles valuations. This translates into roughly $7,200 in value from this introductory bonus offer alone, and you can transfer your miles to a wide variety of airline and hotel loyalty programs:

You may notice that the only domestic airline transfer partner on the list is JetBlue. Fortunately, you’ll still have access to all 3 major global alliances: Oneworld, Star Alliance, and SkyTeam.

For example, you can book Delta Air Lines flights through partners like Flying Blue, American Airlines flights through Qantas Frequent Flyer, or United Airlines flights through Air Canada Aeroplan, often for fewer miles than those airlines would charge on their own websites.

But the real value lies in international premium cabin redemptions. For instance, Capital One miles transfer to Emirates at a 4:3, allowing you to book an 87,000-mile business class seat from Newark (EWR) to Athens (ATH) for 116,000 miles. You can also fly American Airlines business class to destinations as far as Australia for only 85,000 miles by transferring Capital One miles to Finnair Avios.

At these redemption levels, which are just a fraction of the cash price, you can easily exceed our 1.8 cents-per-mile valuation for Capital One miles. You can also redeem miles for eligible travel purchases made within 90 days of the transaction at a rate of 1 cent per mile, which offers major flexibility to use your miles even when booking through transfer partners isn’t an option.

Capital One Venture X Business Card Overview

For such a giant welcome offer, the annual fee isn’t as high as you may expect.

Final Thoughts

We’ve seen some pretty remarkable welcome offers throughout 2025. Now, weeks away from the end of the year, Capital One has just raised the stakes on its premium business card by offering up to 400,000 bonus miles.

While most people won’t have the capability be able to meet the sky-high minimum spend requirement on the Capital One Venture X Business card, high-spending business owners should seriously consider applying while this eye-popping offer is available.
