Daily Getaways is an annual promotion offered by the U.S. Travel Association to encourage folks to travel. For obvious reasons, there were no Daily Getaways promotions last year, and this year’s promo was postponed from May all the way until October. Now, however, the first 2 weeks of deals have been released. Let’s take a look at the details.

Daily Getaway Deals: Week 1

The first week of deals doesn’t start until October 7, 2021, which means we’ll be having a short week. Still, these promotions will launch each day at 1 p.m. EST, so be sure to set your alarms. Certain promotions are wildly popular and can sell out in seconds, so you’ll need to have your pages loaded ahead of time.

Hot Tip: You’ll want to keep our guide “Travel Points & Miles Valuations — How Much Are They Actually Worth?” handy to make sure you’re getting a great deal.

Is It Worth It?

Whether or not you decide to participate in the Daily Getaways giveaways is up to you. The World of Hyatt promotion is always popular and is sure to sell out in seconds. Others may last longer, especially those that don’t present great value. Keep in mind that these points do not count towards your annual purchase cap, which may make them a good option if you’re looking to quickly build your balance and have already maxed out the amount you can buy each year.

Final Thoughts

We’ll be covering the hottest deals more in-depth to show you which are the best options from which to choose. Although only the first 2 weeks have been revealed, there is at least another week ahead of us to investigate. As it stands, there are some decent options on the table — and one really excellent choice in the form of World of Hyatt points — so be sure to set your clock for the Daily Getaways launch. As a reminder, these deals go live each day at 1 p.m. EST starting on October 7, 2021.
