Its app-first platform lets you purchase and customize a policy in minutes, providing a seamless way to manage claims and access 24/7 support right from your phone. With airport lounges now included as a benefit for eligible policyholders, here’s a look at how exactly access works.

Faye Adds Airport Lounge Access for Flight Delays

A Faye travel insurance plan covers all the essentials: trip cancellation and interruptions, medical emergencies (including evacuation), and 24/7 telemedicine. While your base rate depends on your destination and trip length, you can build a custom quote through Faye’s website or its mobile app (iOS, Android) in seconds.

There are optional extras you can add to your travel insurance plan, such as adventure sports coverage, pet protection, or even cancel-for-any-reason coverage. Best of all, every policyholder now gets a premium bonus: access to airport lounges for flight delays of 3 hours or more.

In partnership with Lounge Key, which is a global airport lounge access program similar to Priority Pass, travelers can access more than 1,400 lounges worldwide.

Here’s how it works: Travelers can track their flights directly in the Faye app in real-time, and Faye will alert travelers of cancellations or delays. A flight delay of 3 hours or more will allow users to claim their lounge pass and find a nearby lounge, where they’ll find complimentary food and drink and comfortable seating.

At airports without participating LoungeKey lounges, travelers can even buy a day pass at another lounge location and claim up to $50 per person in reimbursement on the Faye app.

Lounge Key Locations

Lounge Key offers access to many airport lounges, though a full list is available in the Lounge Key app (iOS, Android). In the U.S., this includes locations such as The Club, Be Relax Spa, and international airline lounges operated by Air France, Turkish Airlines, Lufthansa, and more.

If you’re at an airport without a Lounge Key location, it’s worth finding another airport lounge network that accepts walk-in day passes. At the time of writing, this includes:

Alaska Airlines Lounges: $69 (must have a same-day Alaska or Oneworld boarding pass)
American Airlines Admirals Club: $79 (must have a same-day AA or Oneworld boarding pass)
United Airlines Club: $59 (must have a same-day United or Star Alliance boarding pass)
JetBlue BlueHouse Lounges: Between $59 and $79 (must hold a same-day Blue fare boarding pass and be a JetBlue Mosaic 1-3 status holder or a Mint passenger not taking a transatlantic flight)
Escape Lounges: Between $32 and $45
Plaza Premium Lounges: Between $30 and $90
