These are strategic adds for JetBlue, with the airline calling Fort Lauderdale a “key market” for the airline.

“With new routes, more flights and the expansion of our award-winning Mint experience on more trips, and the best crewmembers in the business, we’re continuing to offer more reasons for South Florida travelers to choose JetBlue,” said Dave Jehn, JetBlue’s vice president, network planning and airline partnerships.

Hot Tip:

Additionally, JetBlue plans to offer Mint service on every flight between Fort Lauderdale and Las Vegas (LAS), Los Angeles (LAX), Phoenix (PHX), and San Francisco (SFO) this winter. If you aren’t familiar, JetBlue Mint is one of the best domestic business-class products thanks to lie-flat seats and elevated dining.

How To Book

Tickets for JetBlue’s new (and returning) routes are now available, although the airline doesn’t seem to be advertising promotional fares.

The cheapest tickets we’re seeing are from Fort Lauderdale to Tampa, with cash flights starting at just $39 one-way.

Of course, these tickets can also be purchased with JetBlue TrueBlue points. Rates start at just 1,800 points each way.

Final Thoughts

JetBlue is making strategic moves at Fort Lauderdale with several new and returning routes. The airline is also offering Mint flights on transcontinental routes, offering customers a more luxurious way to travel coast to coast.
