Which Card Is Best for You?
Aside from the welcome bonuses, how should you determine which card is right for you?
In our view, the Marriott Boundless card is a much better option for most travelers. It not only helps you earn points faster, but it’s also very easy to offset its $95 annual fee thanks to the inclusion of the free night certificate since hotels costing up to 35,000 points can often cost $200 to $300 per night.
However, if you’re just looking for an easy way to earn some more Marriott Bonvoy points on your stays and on daily purchases, and you aren’t interested in paying an annual fee, then the Marriott Bold card is a good option.
Final Thoughts
While we’ve seen better welcome offers on these cards in the past, these current offers are nothing to sneeze at if you’re in the market for a new Marriott Bonvoy card. Ultimately, it simply comes down to selecting which card option is best for you. If either card seems like a good fit for you, you should consider pulling the trigger before the increased welcome offers end at 6 p.m. EST on April 6, 2022.
